Dan and Wendee have given their opinion on the movies. I was wondering what the other listeners thought of the movie adaptations. My thoughts on the John Carter of Mars movie. It is a fun adventure movie. It was good considering the material it had. Now that may sound like I hated the story, but I did not. I just think it is a story consisting of so many small stories. It would have worked better as a series or mini-series rather than a movie. I did enjoy the movie physics. I know that in the story John Carter could jump better but in the movie he must have spent years on earth hopping while carrying boulders, and on Mars he recently received a pair of flubber bottomed jumper jacks.
