Venneh
I was in the middle of that one weird random sickness combo I had, and Preston suggested that I check the site out while I was busy trying not to die on my family's couch, and here we all are, kids. <
teenalphabro
I remember joining back in 2010-2011, but I only got back in in 2015. Still, I've been on the forums for about six-seven years. Fuck me, I feel old now. EDIT: And for the record, my entry point was Animezing Podcast. Look at me now. Dread
This upcoming Tuesday, my dad and stepmom will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. My parents are three years away from 50.I was driving to work in my new car with my Dutch daughter this week listening to Who Cares a Lot? the FNM greatest hits CD. I went "Oh shit!" when it hit me. She was like "what?" It dawned on me, that this was the album put out after one of my favorite bands broke up when they owed the label another record. A greatest hits often is. I bought it when it came out, almost 20 years ago...like 5 years before this chick was born.
S-T
I passed the 25th anniversary of my high school graduation last month.
Professor
Someone asked me if I still had my sub license. I don't, but something hit me. There are now high school students that were not born the last time I got a haircut.
S-T
A family member who is two years younger than me has a 3 year old grandson - the same age as the younger of my two sons.
Dread
I have a son who is "too old" to trick or treat, so he's staying home and watching a horror movie with a friend tonight... Not sure whether to be proud or go pick up some heart medication.
dc20willsave
At work last week, Elle King's "X's and O's" came on. I mention loving it (it's a rock song about a woman being able to have causal sex. It's wonderful!) but it's weird that her dad is Rob Schneider. Co-worker, younger guy, doesn't know who that is. "I really envy you." was my response.
Missy
I envy that innocent, uncorrupted soul.
Donomark
My high school English teacher showed up at the Barnes and Noble I work at last night with his twin children. I was in class when his wife went into labor. The kids are now twelve.

Dread
I know I basically post this in this thread every year, but it never fails to make me feel a million years old: In five days, my youngest son (the one whose birth announcement was made on this site) is 11. His older brother (who's 12) is on a trip with his class to Quebec sans parents and starts high school in September.
teenalphabro
When the Countdown episodes of The Show first started, I believe I would almost start high school. I'm going to be graduating college in May. Help. Edit: Got my dates wrong. I would've been in middle school.

My oldest is going to high school next year and I'm starting to look like Reed Richards up in this bitch.
teenalphabro
My first time going to the site was on May 1st, 2010. I've been here eight years. That's kinda thrown a lot of things into sharp relief.

Professor
Today I had to go check on my parents house while they enjoy vacation. My mom wanted me to check that the basement wasn't flooded. So I went down the stairs. The stairs that I used to play on and fall down all the time. Like all the time. How else was Donatello supposed to do a quintuple backflip off a building onto Bebop unless I ran full speed down the stairs? But I was 10 and made of rubber then. 20+ years later and falling down stairs isn't as much fun. In fact, it hurts like a motherfucker. In other news, I have no idea where I put my knee brace.
