RSS
Never Say Never Again? Not just the movie on review, but the mantra for Messrs Ian Wilson and Adham Fisher, as they call time on For Your Ears Only after 26 months of British nonsense, swearing, and character-assassination. There is a two-hour review of an unofficial Bond film starring Sean Connery, but really, that's not important. The important things are the "Roger Moore in A View to a Kill is Older than..." competition, the explosive return of I-Wizzle, and the hosts' favorite memories of bringing you this irreverent, career-hindering podcast! But remember: Ian Wilson and Adham Fisher will return... SkylerQ91
I'm at school so I only, in a rather vain manor, checked to see how much my voicemail was cut down, if at all. Hearing that I must say the name of the band is called Me First and the Gimme Gimmes on the album Have a Ball. I look forward to getting home and listening to the full show in about 15 minutes. Hooray! -Skyler

SkylerQ91
Deary me! Adham's Ian impression, Mike's plea to get Casino Royale regraded, Stavros's puns, Adham's consoling me about not being him, I-Wizzle's return, the last of our dear Moore looks older than jokes, and so much Other Greatness! What a wonderful show! So sad it see the end of it all. Thanks again, guys. -Skyler

MissDaria
Great episode as ever. I'm sorry to see the end of FYEO, but can't wait to see what the Genuine British People do next. Incidentally, the band that provided that version of 'Nobody Does It Better' is called Me First And The Gimme Gimmes. Cover versions like that are pretty much their stock in trade. Though I don't recall offhand that they've done any other Bond themes.
slothian
Many thanks Daria, and welcome to the forums! I'm just hoping Adham's as good as his word and that he does a number of Bond covers, especially if it had an "All The Same" twist.... Donomark
Great episode as ever. I'm sorry to see the end of FYEO, but can't wait to see what the Genuine British People do next. This is the first podcast I've listened to that has ended, and it's doubly sad as it's pretty much tied with Spider-Man Crawlspace as my favorite. I can always listen back to the previous eps as I tend to do anyway, but the excitement of new life in the show's history is now done and all great things must come to an end. Messers. Wilson and Fisher, I salute you
stansnig
I have just finished listening to the last show. I relentlessly listened to nothing else only discovering the show in March I think. Loved the podcsats. The last one it was great to remember that Pat Roach was in the film. In the mid 90s I was a member of a gym (long since lapsed!) and one day in the gym I was in the weight room with non other that Pat Roach! Amazing. He was massive and tackled every machine with full weights on all. It was sad to hear of his death. Now I can return to other podcasts I have been neglecting. My friend might start talking to me again now that I'll start listening again to his 'cast Looking forward to Ian and Adham's next venture. stansnig Great episode as ever.
