Brace yourselves for a long one as Ian and Dave embark upon the epic series two finale "Star One," where Blake finally reaches his goal but soon finds that destroying it won't be as easy as he thought, and the Liberator must single-handedly defend the entire galaxy from an invading fleet. They also look back over series two, and bid a fond farewell to some main characters. Other topics covered are: the best way to defend yourself against space lettuce, trouble at the vicarage, and the triumphant return of statistician Ian. [ 2:54:15 || 83.7 MB ]

Just thought i'd say i am greatly enjoying your show :) was going to send an email in, which as it turns out would of given the mighty Mr Ian a glorious victory, but alas i am far too lazy and couldn't think of anything to say.

I'd never heard of cosplay before this show btw, tbh at first i thought it was a band or something you were going on about until i googled it in confusion :D

Have also been listening to the James Bond podcast, which was very amusing, my favorite so far is Moonraker :D

P.s I remember seeing the ending to Star One when it aired, Avon pressing the button thingy has been something that has stayed with me for many years, can't remember much else though :D

Here's a thought for you B7 and Dr. Who fans:

Star one: inspired by "Genesis of the Daleks?"

Remember the doctor deciding that he could not destroy the daleks, and yet a dalek crossed the detonation wires and destroyed the incubator room full of them anyway? Star one seems a bit derivative, with Blake intending to destroy star one, then finding that he cannot, and yet it was partly failing anyway.
