    Episode 27

    This was released?
  2. DCBS allows late orders, but I'm not sure if the charge for said books will be added to the month in which they were solicited (and should have been ordered), or the month in which they were ordered. You'll have to shoot them an e-mail to find out.
  3. I decided to forgo the Astonishing X-Men omnibus, so this is my final order... I think: Caliber: First Canon of Justice Hercules: The Thracian Wars Nexus: As It Happened The Irredeemable Ant-Man Previews Then again, I might get this: Astonishing X-Men omnibus Caliber: First Canon of Justice Hercules: The Thracian Wars Previews Bah! Okay, my order isn't final.

    Secret Six

I'd buy the monthlies, but I'm in the process of selling off my entire comic book collection. So I don't want to start amassing another one.

    Secret Six

This is one of those books I keep meaning to give a look. Maybe once the first trade is out, I'll grab it.
  6. I just might change your screen name to that.
  7. Daredevil: Lady Bullseye It's very clear Brubaker is building to the end of his run, and I like the possibilities he's laid down here. Now if only Marvel had the balls to let Daredevil become , then things would get really interesting for the MU. Regardless, this was a fun book that never let Matt sink too far into his trademarked depression, it introduced two great characters (Lady Bullseye and Master Izo), and I'm very interested in seeing where the Matt / relationship goes. Out of 10: 7 Total Comic books: 7 Trade paperbacks: 29 Graphic novels: 1

I know that's just a typo but I nearly fell outta my chair when I saw it post of the day? I do believe YOU put a typo in Mike's supposed typo... Above, it does say "Limp." Unless he pulled an "edit" before I noticed. *shakes fist*

Now that I think about it, I might have been at that show, too.

Off the top of my head, I've seen: The White Stripes (multiple times) The Flaming Lips The Rolling Stones Bryan Adams Nine Inch Nails Marilyn Manson (multiple times) The Foo Fighters (twice?) Kaiser Chiefs (as as opening act) Yeah Yeah Yeahs (as as opening act) Gorillaz Tiger Army Kenny Wayne Shepherd Swinging Lovehammers Meatloaf (I think this might have been my first concert) Stabbing Westward (multiple times) I've been to a ton of festivals, where I've seen Ozzy, Limp Bizkit, Creed and Kid Rock. 12. It pains me to say this, but unless it's for The Show, I'm simply not reading a lot of comics this year. 14. I hope to see it this weekend.
  15. My trades and hardcovers aren't being sold with that lot. I'll be keeping most of those. If I sell the comics for .20¢ each, I'm looking at less than $1000. I can sell a few of those runs for a few hundred each, even in this economy. I think I'm going to start it at $2500, then slowly work my way down if need be.
  16. Chris, whenever I try to download the show through iTunes, I get an error message. I've been having this trouble since the start.
  17. As for the price range you suggested, that might be a little high. If I sold them for $3500, that would be .75¢ / book. Granted, that seems low, but some of these books aren't even worth that. I'm thinking $2000, maybe $2500. Which would be .43¢ or .54¢ / book.
  18. When shipping in the US, we can send books and DVDs via Media Mail, which is much less expensive than normal mail. Plus, again, the buyers will pay for shipping.
  19. Right. If I sell it piece by piece on eBay, the buyers will play shipping. Thus, no cost to me. But if I sell the whole thing to one person, it has to be someone local, or someone who doesn't mind driving a long ways to pick it up.
  20. Though I'd rather sell it as one lot (to save time), I probably could make more money selling it in pieces. But, as a lot, what price do you think it fair?
  21. If I can't sell the entire collection to one person, I'll break it up.
