  1. Good Will Hunting for his early career and The Martian for his more recent output (he's good in Oppenheimer, but that would be better for a Cillian Murphy or RDJ month). Maybe The Bourne Identity for the Noughties.
  2. Richard Moll dies at 80. Granted, I know him almost exclusively as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, but his performance as the character is criminally underrated and I don't doubt he was great in other stuff.
  3. The House That Dripped Blood - Watched it based on Channel 37’s review of it last year. Me likey. The Raven (1963) - Directed and produced by Roger Corman, written by Richard Matheson, and starring Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Boris Karloff, and baby Jack Nicholson. @Dan @Missy @dc20willsave @Mr Mockery — please, please — PUH-LEASE — cover this on Channel 37 someday. It’s insane!
  4. https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2023/sep/28/michael-gambon-actor-died-82
  5. The Emperor’s New Groove vs Deadpool Also — this is an obvious one but might as well ask it — Barbie vs Oppenheimer
  6. Neil Patrick Harris’ character has apparently been revealed.
  7. Fair enough. Plus, even if I gave you a rundown of them in the episode, Dominion is supposed to conclude a trilogy and tie back to the first film, so it wouldn't be the easiest film to follow and review without having seen the others. (The other sequels aren't great either, but I'm not sure they're bad enough to be Tirades-worthy.)
  8. If you'd like to cover Jurassic World: Dominion, I'll throw my hat in for that one.
  9. I’ll third Chasing Amy (in part because you haven’t covered any Kevin Smith films yet and for the discussion to be had about it) and heartily second Hollywoodland — not only because he (kind of) gets to play Superman but because it’s a fascinating unsolved(?) mystery.
  10. Finally saw it just now, and I’m inclined to agree.
  11. My word...Kevin AND Arleen...😢
  12. Fantasia 2000 vs Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home OR Fantasia 2000 vs Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
  13. I've only seen it once and am due for a rewatch of it, but I already suspect Some Like It Hot is better than Bruges, especially considering when it was made. The Dark Knight and Strange 1.
  14. Treat Williams better not have been the guy running around with the ice cream maker:
  15. Fantasia for both (though not by much and bearing in mind I’m one of its biggest fans) and Aladdin probably just edges out The Great Mouse Detective for me on the strength of its musical numbers, although it’s a close-run thing as well as a favorite vs best situation for me. Not seen Eternal Sunshine yet.
