The New Guy (1/8)

  1. Oh definitely, but the thread is based off of the Marvel thread which posits the list be made of humans whose powers are not intelligence-based. My bad.
  2. This is an interesting premise. The cover was painted, my guess would be with gouache water color. This makes it look a bit like Alex Ross. He is most known for this style of art work. I looked over the link above. I agree with one of the comments on the preview page. When I first saw it, I got kind of excited. I thought for a moment that Diana and Kal-EL had hooked up. Oh, well... still interesting.
  3. Thanks for the thread... Wow, I always had issues with Batman: TAS and Gotham Knights being in continuity. I always took the red skies to be the beginning of a crisis event. Interesting read. To be honest, the series is growing on me. I will just accept that it is in continuity.
  4. I don't mean to be rude, I'm new here, but how exactly does Teen Titans fall into continuity of the DCAU? Is there a psychological component that we are seeing the animation as a young child would, like through a prism, but in reality the events took place very differently for those involved? Any suggestions... somebody really needs to walk me through this.
  5. It looks alot like it, and sounds like it but there were major continuity issues. They used the same animation style and Tim Daly and Dana Delany were cast in the same roles as Superman: TAS. That, however, is where the similarity stops. It can't be in continuity. The portrayal of Luthor was not in character. Brainiac's origin was different as well.
