  1. I started watching last season, and it took half the season to not picture him as the vampire from the Lost Boys.
  2. Anybody watching this season? Holy crap is it good. Especially the last couple episodes.
  3. It wasn't one year, it was 3. Why was that a ridiculous statement? The retailers are actually self governing themselves. That's how it is supposed to work. It is proof that when the issue is brought up, the stores react by implementing policies that make it harder to sell them to minors. Your argument about it dropping only because of San Andreas doesn't hold up. This has been an issue since Mortal Kombat first came out, and has been brought up numerous times since. They created the rating system to inform parents what is in a game, and to avoid having the government step in. If a kid buys a "M' rated game, shouldn't the parents know about it and return it if it's something they don't want them to have?
  4. http://www.xboxic.com/news/632 At first everyone said it was fake, and then they showed more proof.
  5. This is proof that self regulation works and the government doesn't need to step in.
  6. Is it important to have continuity in comic books? Marvel doesn't seem to think so. Things that are happening in one book don't happen in the others, even if it threatens the entire world. Characters seem to be in more than one place at the same time. Characters look different in each book(Beast). The XMen books seem to be the worst at this. It didn't use to be this bad did it?
  7. The best place to find Star Wars fan films, and where this one was ganked from. http://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/
  8. Speaking of KRose, I wonder what he thinks about this since he and Sarah were an item for a while. From wikipedia: Rose was one of only six TechTV personalities, including Adam Sessler, Morgan Webb, Sarah Lane, Chi-Lan Lieu, and Brendan Moran, to survive the massive layoffs resulting from the May 2004 merger of G4 and TechTV. That had to be awkward.
  9. Come on, the hair got my vote. Egon all the way.
  10. The "beginning" of the game is horrible. They needed a way to tell what happened in the last games without just telling it. After you are back as Sora it gets good.
  11. Actually, all of the shows are made that quick. They usually finish the episodes right before airtime. That's how they stay topical with what's going on in the news. Comedy Central doesn't even see the episodes until they air usually. The episode last night was pretty good, and the stuff they made Chef say was funny as hell. "Im gonna make sweet love to your asshole" and "i'm gonna put my salty balls in your rectum" were the funniest things I've heard from that show in awhile.
  12. It's one of those things that you have to have to appreciate how much it has to offer. The arcade, watching movie trailers, downloading and playing demos, streaming music from your computer to play while you are playing games, and all in HD. I couldn't go backwards now. The thing is, in my opinion, all those things you listed are extras that would not detract from the enjoyment if they weren't there, but only add to it. This is good and all if it wasn't adding something extra to nothing, which it is in my opinion. There just isn't a base product there that makes me want to own it for what it was made for, that makes me want to get it so I can enjoy the extras you listed. If your saying there are no games out that make you want to buy it, then just wait. By the time the PS3 comes out(with only 14 titles), there will be alot of good games out there. The Revolution is going to be ok, but it's just a souped up GameCube with a gimmick controller.

  14. More like 300,000 in North America.
  15. If you do, what games are you enjoying? What do you think of the system? I'm playing GRAW, and it's ok, but I have been playing arcade games more than anything. In about 4 days I'll be playing Oblivion, so I won't have much time for anything else.
  16. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire- I think this is the worst in the series in terms of not following the book. Neverending Story 1 and 2- I was a kid once. Jersey Girl- Kevin Smith = dvd extras goodness My next dvd bought will probably be Narnia. I will be too busy playing Oblivion on the XBox360 to care about anything else until then.

    PS3 news

I guess it's official now. http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/10460/PlaySt...Until-November/ "Japanese newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported today that the PlayStation 3 will launch in Japan this November at the earliest. According to "Nikkei", the console will be delayed six months because the copy protection technology for Blu-ray Disc has not yet been finalized. The AACS Licensing Administrator, the group resposible for the spec that manages content stored on next generation optical disc formats such as HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc, failed to deliver a final spec last year and has since then provided a temporary spec under interim licensing agreements." We probably won't see it in the US until sometime next year.
  19. CGC is the way to go. Unless you ever plan on reading it again. I buy comics to read, not to invest money in. I couldn't seal them up, never to read again. I still pull out my books from 20 years agao and read them.
  20. Surely it's a flashback scene. I can't imagine them doing anything that stupid.

    PS3 news

http://cnet.com.au/games/0,39029232,40060922,00.htm Conventional wisdom increasingly indicates that a delay of the PlayStation 3 from its originally intended spring launch date is all but inevitable. Last month, a Merrill Lynch report predicted a 6-12-month delay for the system, followed shortly thereafter by a reported Sony acknowledgement that a PS3 delay was a possibility if the supply of parts to make the console lagged. Yet more aspersions have been cast on Sony's purported spring PS3 launch, as Friedman Billings Ramsey analyst Shawn Milne issued an industry update to investors saying Sony's clearly going to miss its spring window. He added that the Japanese release might miss the summer as well, and North American gamers may not be playing the system in 2006 at all. "More supply chain data suggest the possibility of a launch delay," Milne wrote. "According to our semiconductor research team, there are further indications that the Sony PS3 launch may be late (although there remains significant confusion on the timing of launches by geography)." Milne also noted that Sony apparently did not give retailers a release date on the PS3 at its recent Destination PlayStation event as further evidence of a slip in the schedule. According to Milne, a North American PS3 release in the first quarter of 2007 would cause weakness in the industry and a poor fourth quarter for 2006. However, he projects a sell out for the system even if it does launch in early 2007, and a muted long-term impact on the industry from the delay. Unlike other analysts, Milne didn't offer a prediction on the console's price, which has been targeted anywhere from US$399 to US$799. When the system launches, Milne says Electronic Arts will likely get the biggest boost of the publishers, as it has "8-12 titles planned for the PS3 launch". Previously announced PS3 titles from the publisher include Fight Night Round 3, Medal of Honor: Airborne, Def Jam 3, and a next-gen Madden game.
  22. http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/694/694283p1.html "The computer-animated Star Wars series is currently in pre-production, with scripts in development and animation tests underway. That show, which is to be set during the Clone Wars, should begin airing in the fall of 2007. The second series, a live-action show, will be composed of one-hour episodes, with 100 hours of story initially charted. The story takes place after Revenge of the Sith but before A New Hope. No timeframe for production or airing has been officially mentioned yet."
  23. Kitty phasing through the walls running from Juggy was good, but him plowing through the walls chasing her was awsome.
  24. Spoiler alert I just watched the XPlay video podcast preview of Kingdom Hearts 2 and I saw some more stuff thats going to be in it. You go to the SteamBoat Willie world(in black and white even), and Chicken Little is in the game as a summon. You start the game as a different character named Roxis for a 3 hour tutorial. In one battle you fight a multi headed beast on Pegusus's back. I recommend you get the podcast just to hear Donald Duck say something in Japanese that sounds dirty. Edit: There is also a Mulan level.
  25. Sorry you didn't like the movie Yoda, but you have to admit the last battle was cool. BTW, the trailer for it is up in the XBox Live Marketplace for those of you that have the 360.
