  1. This is tré cool, but it'd be nice if for once one of Marvel's animated series' would last a little longer than they do. It seems that just as you're really getting into something like X-Men Evolution, they pull the plug and focus on the next movie-hyped comic. It's such a shame what happened to the Silver Surfer series.
  2. Today I bought a pirate hat and eyepatch.
  3. Luke, I merged your "clichés" thread with this one, 'cause we were already discussing James' column in here. Smooth moves, sorry about that. I'm much enjoying anime week right now. Earth-2 is becoming one of my favourite places on the net.
  4. That was simply fantastic. A very funny, very true column. I wish I was an anime character and could jump 50 feet into the air.
  5. I bought an X-Box a few weeks ago, with Broken Swrod 3 and the GTA Double Pack. I've finished BS3, now I'm playing through Vice City, and I also just picked up a second hand copy of X-Box Championship Manager. It's my one true vice.
  6. Just finished Broken Sword 3, and now I'm going through X-Box GTA: Vice City (though I'm stuck on that stupid mission where I must free Cam Jones from the confines of his police Cell). It's at times like these that I realise how many games I've got on my list to complete. Off the top of my head, theres; GTA3, GTA:VC, Resident Evil GC, Tomb Raider 4 + Chronicles, and X-Men Legends.
  7. I say this every time, but Cowboy Bebop, probably for both catagories. Fanboy I am.
  8. This is all so stupid. I'm not quite sure how the rating system works in the US, but I'm sure it's similar to that used in Britain. If the game is rated 18 and over, then any supposed bad influence it has upon children is strictly the fault of the parents or relatives whom have purchased them a copy.
  9. I'd love to play them all, but I pick Spiderman II. Nemesis looks like it's either a really good game, or a really bad game. Whatever, I bet it won't be as much fun as Capcom's 2-D Marvel fighting games. Legends II surely will be fun, but I preferred Spiderman II over Legends I, and thus is my vote.
  10. While the sequels were okay, none of them matched the greatness of Red/Blue.
  11. Just finished Spiderman 2 on Gamecube. I've also played a little of X-Men Legends but I haven't got too into it because I've been also busy with FIFA 2005. I can't decide whether that's a good game or not.
  12. I don't believe they ever showed it in the UK. Was it any good?
  13. Everyone should play Sonic R.
  14. Eh, I think Venom wouldn't be too hard to accept. 'Oh look it is an alien.' I would.
  15. We've been watching a man with the proportional strength and ability of a spider, who swings around the city with self-produced webbing fluid and sticks to walls. If you complain about Sandman and yet take the above for granted, I think that's hypocritical.
  16. I stand by my point that it's too shirt.
  17. Only took him one duck and one punch, too. And even Robin got a shot in.
  18. 1. My point is hat I love Sonic R as a game. That is not hard. 2. Sonic isn't dead, imo, he'sjust not as popular as he was. If he were dead, Sonic Heroes wouldn't have sold as much. Then you're a really harsh critic/cynic. Snap's a fun, addictive gave. It's far too shirt, but what's there is fairly unique and well-made, and everyoen I've spoken to who's also played it has agreed weith me. Sad that you don't. Eh, it would sell if it was a good enough game. Sure, nowhere near the amount it might've five years ago, but it'd certainly top the GC charts. Although I don't really give a shit as long as it was fun to play and I owned it.
  19. This SO calls for a Batman/Daredevil verses.
  20. Good article. I was never a Megaman fan. I think Sonic could be bought back to a 5* gaming experience if Sega would look at the good qualities of the decent Sonic Adventure games, and enhance them. Sonic Heroes was tripe, I know. Meanwhile, Sonic R is the best game of all time. So there. God, Pokemon Red/Blue was so fucking awesome, a true classic. I enjoyed Gold/Silver, but never cared enough to complete them. Haven't even tried Sapphire/Ruby. Snap was a highly addictive N64 game, tho. I think the problem is that Nintendo didn't try hard enough to update the franchise, instead merely adding more generic boring Pokemon for the sequels. While the monsters in Red/Blue were fun, the real quality in the game came from a combination of the fantastic maps, and the fact that it wasn't too big. By adding like, another 100 Pokemon each sequel, it just became too complex. What the franchise really needs is a combined remake of Red/Blue and Gold/Silver in one big Gamecube/Revolution 3-D full game. That would rule.
  21. Any idea when you fancy doing this, Yodaness? And will non-staff members still be able to contribute segments?
  22. I'm going against this on the account that Batman once ducked a Bullseye throw. So there.

    New DC logo!

Eh, looks okay, apart from the fact the 'DC' looks like it's surrouded by a Captain America shield.
