I know it seems sort of obvious now, but couldn't most comic/superhero movies work like that? The comics always have well defined story arcs that finish. Each movie could be their own stand alone story, not a sequel, not a prequel, just shit that happens to that hero?

Do you mean Memento? Unless there is an Italian version of the movie I'm unaware of. Sorry to be a spelling dick, but my business is called Memento and when I have people tell me I spell my own business name wrong, that it should be Momento, pisses me off no end. That deal is fantastic though, and even if you've seen 1 or 2 of them, it's still a bargain.

Watched Batman Begins and The Dark Knight back to back on Saturday night. I think BB stands up better over time. Maybe I prefer origin stories or maybe its the convoluted ferry sequence in TDK, seriously, can someone explain that part of the movie to me that makes sense in real life and isn't some stupid plot device. I'm not asking for realism, I'm asking for a scenario that makes logical sense. On the plus side for TDK, Aaron Eckharts performance really was quite fantastic and was unfairly overshadowed by Heath Ledgers, which I think someone here mentioned in the original thread.

I would never have thought books would go electric to the same degree as music did, but for the past couple of quarters, Amazon's Kindle sales have been more than their physical sales, so I guess people are definitely on board the digital bandwagon. From a point of efficiency, I would love to own a digital book reader/library. But I like books, they display well and with me spending most of my professional life in front of a computer screen, they offer a break from looking at an LCDm regardless of the soft light, etc nature of the Kindle.

I seriously think 'out of stock' is marketing departments new way to generate free publicity. Not just Apple, lots of companies are doing these days. It's becoming a little too transparent.

Not really sold on any of those names to be honest. Smulders is great as Robyn, but I couldn't buy her in this. Baccarin I think is a bit to over the top evil in V, so I'm not sold on her either. Winstead is the one that sticks out to me, I'd really like to see what she does with the role. She has a real bitchy quality about her I think.
