Its always the same Ganondorf in the games he's in, but aside from a couple of instances Link and Zelda change over the years. Though if you are looking for a starting point Ocarina is supposedly the first game in the timeline. It doesn't really matter though.

I liked the game enough, the story was good but the characters really did not connect with me at all. From Cloud to Squall to Zidane and Tidus and main male cahracter is fighting for something it just seems Vaan is fighting for absolutely no reason. Basch and Balthier are given much more depth then the lead character which is certainly surprising for a FF game. I don't know it just didn't seem like a game worthy of the FF series.

Anyway I'm not a big fan of FF changing the battle system, which I believe should never be changed, but I haven't played enough DQ, I've only played 8 and even though I absolutely love that game, and the characters and the plot and everything else. DQ should make another game with the same exact characters that's how much I loved that game. Anyway where was I? Ah yes, null vote I've played only 1 DQ and way too much FF.

Beat it and the last level is pretty annoying. i.e. Very long. I agree with Fetch, the beginning is a bit slow going, as I'm pretty sure they could've thought of a better way then what they came up with. Even looking back I'm still not too sure what happened in the beginning. And I played the game.

I actually forgot about this, and only remembered when I was watching the hilarious comedy Freddy vs. Jason and they showed only about 70 commercials for it, so I'll try and get to it in the next couple of days.

I'm actually pretty excited since DRQ mentioned the "I killed you ten minutes ago" line is in it. DRQ, have they kept V's origin the same? Or have they tweaked it a little?

In a way your proving my point, he had 1 show where he focused entirely on female strength and completely fucked it up. You say most people like season 6 because of Willow, however Willow was not a strong female in that season, she was a junkie for most of the season and then goes on a murderous rampage. Hannigan's acting might have saved it for some people, but for me the writing was just beyond terrible to look at her acting. The only evidence of Whedon being able to write a strong female role is the first couple of seasons of Buffy and that's it. And that was 7 years ago, so this whole idea of "Whedon is writing WW, this cannot suck" is a bit foolhardy. I won't go into the other storylines in season 6, because one of them and I think you know which is just too disgusting to even comment on.

Maybe I should have said strong female lead roles eh? And honest to God I do not see how anyone can like Buffy season 6, but again that's just me. I don't have as much faith in Whedon to write a good story about a strong female anymore, and will go in very skeptical.

I wonder if people realize that Whedon lost the ability to write a strong female role somewhere in 2000.

I really don't care how a trailer looks anymore, ever since I saw the Planet of the Apes remake trailer and thought that movie was gonna be awesome, I will not be tricked anymore. Beast doesn't look good though, Rogue on the other hand.
