  1. Alrighty! And I'll be sure to let you all know how that X-Men/Spider-Man miniseries is, hopefully it's as good as the little tag line says it is.
  2. This is the first time I'm ordering from DCBS. For years I've been either going to my comic shop or buying from TFAW.com, but since my local comic shop was bought out and turned into a random bookstore, I've decided to go with DCBS. - Amazing Spider-Man #576 - Amazing Spider-Man #577 - Amazing Spider-Man #578 - Batgirl #5 - Batman #682 - Batman #683 - Batman And The Outsiders #13 RIP - Batman Cacophony #1 (of 3) - Batman Confidential #23 - Batman Gotham After Midnight #7 (of 12) - Beyond Wonderland #4 (of 6) - Birds Of Prey #124 - Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season Eight #20 - Detective Comics #850 RIP - Doctor Who Forgotten #4 - Fantastic Four #563 - Farscape #1 - Flash #246 - Fringe #4 (of 6) - Ghostbusters The Other Side #2 - Grant Morrisons Doctor Who #2 - Green Lantern Corps #30 - Guardian Of Metropolis Special #1 New Krypton #1 - Justice League Of America #27 Sightings - Legion Of Super Heroes #48 - Marvel Adventures Two-in-one #17 - Marvel Two-in-one #17 - Marvel Zombies 3 #2 (of 4) - Nightwing #150 RIP - Rest #2 - Robin #180 - Secret Invasion X-Men #4 (of 4) - Spider-Man Brand New Day #2 - Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane Season 2 #4 (of 5) - Supergirl #35 New Krypton - Superman #682 New Krypton - Superman Batman #54 - Superman Batman vs. Vampires Werewolves #3 (of 6) - Superman Batman vs. Vampires Werewolves #4 (of 6) - Superman Supergirl Maelstrom #1 (of 5) - Superman Supergirl Maelstrom #2 (of 5) - Teen Titans #65 - Terror Titans #2 (of 6) - The Stand Captain Trips #3 (of 5) - Trinity #23 - Trinity #24 - Trinity #25 - Trinity #26 - Ultimate Fantastic Four #58 - Uncanny X-Men #504 - Venom Dark Origin #4 (of 5) - Vincent Price Presents #3 - X-files #1 (of 6) - X-Men Manifest Destiny #3 (of 4) - X-Men Spider-Man #1 (of 4)
  3. I'm really excited for this movie. The theatre is where i'm going to be spending my Halloween night.
  4. 'Who you gonna call? Columbia Pictures has apparently heard the fans call for a third film in the horror-comedy franchise GHOSTBUSTERS as they have finally, finally set the long-gestured sequel in motion. Even though a script is being written with the intent of bringing back all four original busters, the article reports that reaching an agreement is still going to be a factor. Read on for the story and watch for updates as soon as a draft of the screenplay is delivered. Columbia Pictures is getting serious about scaring up a new installment of its blockbuster "Ghostbusters" franchise. The studio has set "The Office" co-exec producers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky to write a script for a film designed to bring back together the original cast of Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson. Studio would not comment on the development and has been mum on recent rumors that there was interest in making another installment of the franchise. The scribes just wrote "Year One," a comedy that was directed by Ramis. Ramis with Aykroyd wrote the first two installments of the films. Ivan Reitman directed both the 1984 original and the sequel that was released in 1989. The close proximity between the writers and original Ghostbuster Ramis is evidence that the ghost chasers have sparked to the idea of returning. "Ghostbusters" was Columbia's highest grossing film ever, until it was beaten by "Men in Black" and then "Spider-Man." An attempt to make a third installment of the franchise was stymied in the dealmaking stage. Sources said so much gross was pledged to the participants that it was next to impossible for the studio to make any money on a third installment. No deals will be made with the original cast until the script is ready, but the gross percentage will certainly be an issue. Sony has a standing policy not to allow more than 25% of first dollar gross out the door. The scribes, who are Emmy- nominated for their work on "The Office," just set up another picture at Columbia, selling their spec script "Bad Teacher" to the studio for Jimmy Miller to produce.' Source I'm not sure if we should believe it. For now I think we should all take this with a grain of salt. Getting Bill Murray to commit to a live action movie is like asking Eddie Murphy to stop making comedies.
  5. Right now the shows I am watching and enjoying are: One Tree Hill (I'm a sucker for teen soaps), Weeds, Skins, Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Dexter, The L Word, Stargate: Atlantis, CSI (the original Las Vegas one), Criminal Minds, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Cold Case, Psych, NCIS, Bones, Chuck, Heroes, 24, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, Supernatural, House, and Law & Order: SVU. I also love Nevermind the Buzzcocks and The Graham Norton Show, but those are just game/talk shows not technically regular TV shows. And the shows that I still enjoy that have been cancelled and/or ended: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Veronica Mars, Roswell, Stargate SG-1, The Dead Zone, Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, Six Feet Under, and SeaQuest DSV.
  6. Buffy the Vampire Slayer Angel Doctor Who Torchwood CSI (the original Las Vegas one. I'm a softie for Gil and his overly bad puns before the "Whooooooo are you?" starts) Batman Beyond Darkwing Duck (you laugh, but that show was badass) and I really love Cold Case's theme, the theme song gives me chills.
  7. You do have a point. I mean I could see Riddler pop up sometime in the future, but like you said it would be really hard to find someone who imbodies and portrays Riddler without it coming off as unrealistic. I just don't see Nolan using well-known characters like Riddler in the third movie though. I could see him using Bane, but only as a secondary villian to either Harvey Two-Face or some other villian.
  8. I think the Mad Hatter would've done well in Tim Burtons vision of the Batman world. As for Nolan's I doubt we will ever see him. If Nolan were to create a third movie, I'm pretty sure he will bring back Harvey Two-Face, even Aaron Eckheart said that he would do the third film if Nolan and Bale are both doing it as well. I'm sure they could use the Two-Face thing to their advantage while bringing in another villian. I think what makes Nolan's version of Batman so popular is that he seems to understand the fans, and the charecters they would like to see. I mean putting Scarecrow as Batmans first villian was a bit risky. Not a lot of people know of Scarecrow and they probably would've lost interest in it as soon as they found out that the Joker wasn't in the first film. Nolan said that the reason he put the Joker in the second film is because you can't have Batman without the Joker, they are and will always be a two in one package deal. Now, because of Ledger's death Nolan has no plan to replace him for the third installment so it's safe to say that the Joker will be locked up in Arkham for the rest on this franchise. And as much as I woul like to see Cillian Murphy reprise he role as the Scarecrow, I don't see any storylines for his character. It would be nice to see Nolan's take on Man-Bat. I think that would be the possible next villian. To see bat on bat, especially since the way 'The Dark Knight' ended, the Gotham City people and police would not know how to handle the situation since they are already looking for the Batman. As for the chance of seeing 'The Riddler', I highly doubt it since he is somewhat like the Joker. If you are to create a good third installment you don't want to try and repeat yourself, but this is my opinion.
  9. You are Mr. Freeze 61% Apocalypse 58% Venom 55% The Joker 55% Dr. Doom 53% Two-Face 53% Catwoman 46% Magneto 46% Mystique 45% Dark Phoenix 45% Green Goblin 45% Poison Ivy 42% Lex Luthor 40% Riddler 39% Juggernaut 29% Kingpin 28%
  10. I just got mine in the mail yesterday, and yes I totally forgot how horrible the show was. But that's why I like it, it's so campy and out there that you can't help yourself by being sucked into the television show.
  11. While this is certainly tempting to get, I already have all four volumes and can't really afford to go out and buy that series just for an extra disc and a booklet. Although I have to say, for Batman fans that don't have the series on DVD already, this is a huge deal. Amazon is only selling it for $78.00 or so, and I know that when I bought the volumes it cost me about $35.00 a piece, so this is a steal.
