I hate the 1st of the month. Brings out the absolute best people. With two such people, I spent a good 10-15 minutes watching so they couldn't stuff DVDs down their pants. As such, I heard most of their 'witty banter'. Right before they dropped all the movies they planned to steal, the woman left in a huff. The man said loudly, unashamed, and I quote: "I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to my hand. I wouldn't ask you to do that in the store bathroom." And, that is when security is called and they are kicked out.

I very much dislike pain. What I dislike more than pain, is unexplained pain. And with unexplained pain come my very special brand of a, for lack of a better term, panic attack. So in conclusion, I am experiencing unexplained pain, slightly freaking out and not sleeping. Oh, and work comes at 8AM. Funtastic!

At this point, ANYTHING would have been better than that Jeff Hardy inspired title.

TNA's responce to their shit PPV effort.

For whatever reason, my back decided to go out on me. And naturally, my chiropractor is on vacation this week. Add in that I am currently on day three of thirteen straight days of work. This is going to be fun fun fun.

I don't know about everybody else, but my interest in Mania has really gone downhill. The only match that I am really hyped for is the Cole/Lawler non-match. Triple H/Undertaker being built purely on video packages doesn't do it for me. Ignoring Wrestlemania X8 annoys me. While I get that the streak is a draw, I have become one of the people who thinks it will never be ended. Edge/Del Rio is just bland. Also, seems like the rocketship to the top that Del Rio was on is almost out of steam. All the second tier feuds are just there. Nothing is epic. CM Punk/Orton has suffered due to lack of Punk talking time. Also, it seems like Nexus is dead so, now what? I don't want to see Snooki. Ever. Let alone on the Mania card. And then we end with Cena/Miz which is such a horrible mess of a feud due to the Rock. Rock is feuding with Cena. Cena is feuding with the Rock. Miz is feuding with both, yet they don't know it. Even after this week, Miz is not the focus. They are building for Cena vs. Rock, which is not happening at this Mania. And I have not enjoyed this back and for either. The Rock return was awesome. Cena's response was alright. Rock via satellite has been horrible in my opinion. I hope they turn it around in terms of excitement. I was way more hyped for Mania after the Rumble, each week takes some away. And that is sad.

Seems out of the blue, but I am a very casual fan at this point. The thing that does intrigue me most is the constant "business as usual" talk. I totally buy that for the short term, but not entirely for the long term. Strikeforce has contract/relationships with people that I doubt wish to do business with Zuffa/UFC or more specifically Dana White. Dana can talk all he wants about not being involved, but I don't believe it. I can see Showtime ending the agreement with Strikeforce once the current deal runs out. On the other hand, I like the idea of having one main MMA company. We pretty much do: speaking in public opinion, MMA and UFC are interchangeable. A main problem I have with boxing, is that I have no idea what the championships are. Last week, I see on the ESPN news crawler, that someone is defending their ACB/DEF/GHI/JKL title. What they hell does that mean? I want to know that this guy is the best at his weight class and is the champion. I don't want a UFC welterweight champion and a Strikeforce one too. It is kinda like calling the World Series champ and the minor league champs the same thing, even tho everyone one is better than the other. At the end of the day, like I said, I see nothing changing overnight; but I really cannot see Strikeforce lasting past the current Showtime deal.

Good news: The weekly tornado siren test actually woke me up so I should be good if a tornado were to happen while I was asleep. Bad news: I didn't wake up right away and the siren made Scott Steiner enter my dream.

Well, how else is he supposed to get on tv?

That is my point really. When done right and rarely, it can add to a match and give a 'holy shit' type moment. In other news: Why have Smackdown? It has been mostly a recap of RAW. Lame.

Finally finished the most violent matches of ECW DVD. It was mostly crap, but two things struck me. 1) I miss Yoshihiro Tajiri. 2) I think that bleeding is rather unneeded. Seemed like every match had blood in the first three minutes for no reason other than because they could. It just doesn't work for me. I don't need to see Ric Flair bleed every time he looks at someone funny. Also, NOTHING can be worse than what Eddy Guerrero did versus JBL.

I understand that you are using the computers at the library because maybe you don't have one at home. I get that, I really do. But that does not give you the right to laugh annoyingly loudly at something online. That annoying laugh where everybody looks at you and glares. That annoying laugh that causes you to get kicked out when you don't stop after ten minutes. You do not get to make a scene on your way out. Believe it or not, some of us go to the library for books. Some of us even like to read at the library in that comfy chair in the corner. In conclusion, fuck off.

Otto created the arms with AI. He also created the inhibitor chip so that when they were attached to his higher brain functions, he would control the arms and not the other way around. Chip gets destroyed and shenanigans ensue.

Finished Jericho's new book earlier today. I do think that some of the jokes are too pop culture related. How will the Justin Beiber jokes go over if someone picks up this book in ten years? Also, the time line was kinda jumpy. I understand trying to keep the Fozzy and WWE parts kinda separate, but it got a little confusing. All in all, it was a good read and I think I shall read his first book.

My roommate just informed me, at random, that shoes are a product of the man and we do not need shoes.

I have not had a voice for the last 15 or so hours. The first 4 of those hours were at work. Luckily, I have the day off today to hopefully get better. But it is just my luck. -20 degrees outside, I get nothing. 55 degrees and I get sick. Horrid.

So, I was watching Flashpoint when I saw this nifty little Easter Egg and figured I would share. Nifty little bit of foreshadowing that I had never noticed before.

So here is a stream of consciousness review of iMPACT! 9:05 - I just realized that I don't think Matt Hardy has spoken once in TNA. 9:06 - Also, the TV champion has been out of action for weeks and no one cares. 9:10 - God damn. Saying that you can make more money by not being in TNA is not a good way to sell your product. 9:11 - Why are their still knockouts tag belts? There are only what, 7 women in company? 9:18 - Way to re-debut Hernandez. Negative two stars. 9:20 - Matt Hardy looks better. Good for him. 9:22 - WTF? Uppercut to the balls is not a DQ? Since when? 9:24 - So Bully Ray goes through a table. The bell sounds. Tenay says that Bully Ray goes down in defeat. This was a tables match? Since when? 9:25 - Three days build for your PPV. Great job. Since I don't read spoilers (but I'm not stupid) I assume it will be Anderson/Hardy at the PPV. How does Morgan rate a title shot? Anybody? He beat Rob Terry in 4 seconds is the only reason I can think of. 9:30 - I hate the Jarretts. Not in the 'boo' way either. Still, anything would be better than last week with the kids. That was just wrong. 9:34 - I hate stipulations that blatantly tell you who is going to win. I HATE stipulations about custody of kids. I dispise this feud. 9:40 - 8 Knockout match? Argh. 9:40 - Way to debut a new knockout too. Negative 2 points. 9:42 - The Beautiful People's music is annoying. Same 5 seconds on a loop. Stop it now. 9:43 - I guess it could have been worse. HARDCORE COUNTRY, no thank-you. 9:44 - This new knockout is really short. That is all I know. At all. 10:22 - Way to re-debut Suicide. Negative 2 points. 10:25 - So we could have had Chris Sabin vs. Doug Williams vs. Brian Kendrick. Instead, we get Max Buck vs. Jeremy Buck vs. Robbie E? Way to go TNA, way to go. 10:30 - Simple. 45 second promo for Ink Inc. letting you know their motivation. 10:35 - You know what. Jeff's ridiculous face paint has grown on me. So that is something. 10:48 - Oh yeah. Way to hype AJ's return to the ring from injury. Negative 2 points. 11:00 - Brawl. Woo? Lame. Way to make Stiener just another guy already. Negative 2 points. This show sucks. This made it more entertaining.

I give up on Cena. I get that he is over with the kids, but my god is he just beyond annoying.

Story time. Super Bowl party today. One friend is in from out of state, but has to leave around the time the game starts. As such, she stopped by and was keeping company as I was making the party food. She sees an add for an online dating service on TV and starts filling it out based on me. 100s of questions later, she completes the profile. Clicks to see the matches and starts to laugh so hard she starts to cry. According to this site, there is NO ONE IN THE WORLD that I am compatible with. What made here laugh so hard was the "It's not you, it's me" line in the email. Which, in all honesty, made me laugh pretty hard too.

This makes me sad, but not for the obvious reasons. Day 1 of my first education class we were told to be very careful about what we put online. We were also told, and I quote "Want to make fun of the stupid answers you get or the retarded parents? Tell your friends, call your mother or visit a priest. Doing so on the internet is never a good idea."

I am currently watching Walker, Texas Ranger & Hulk Hogan teach a group of inner city youths the power of Jesus, how not to be a racists, the power of teamwork, and how to shoot a layup. I think my mind has been blown.

So, I spent the better part of the early morning hours talking to a fantastic woman over a cold pizza. Go straight to work with no sleep. Come home and make some homemade soup for tomorrows dinner with my parents. Get a call and head out to hang with some friends. Awesome dinner + cheap seats to watch Ohio State flofflestomp Purdue. Argue with friends on the way home about something I cannot currently remember. I have yet to sleep in the past 40ish hours. And you know what? It was a damn good day.
