That's pretty much literally the only worthwhile scene in that entire movie. TPM is boring; The Final Frontier is an atrocity.

That would have been true 5+ years ago.

My interpretation was that there were a bunch of bullets fired and the ants were in a tight swarm; it wasn't actually an amazing shot, just luck.

It would be better if it were on the CW... ...is something I never thought I'd say five years ago but is totally true now.

That is literally something I was typing in my post as an example before I decided it should be forever forgotten.

The Phantom Menace at least still has a fantastic John Williams score and a cool Darth Maul fight. The Final Frontier has basically nothing of value beyond Row, Row, Row Your Boat.

That 2nd clip isn't necessary viewing, really, IMO. No spoilers, but it's just an out of context clip from something else, so it's not like if you miss it now you won't see it (and in a way that makes sense) later.

I liked it quite a bit, actually. It's the only Marvel movie I walked into actually expecting to dislike or be "meh" about, but it ended up being a lot of fun. I'm really excited to see more Ant-Man in the MCU. Really, I think Disney's marketing team really screwed it up. That and all the bad press about Wright's departure made everything seem way worse off than it ended up being.

I was able to enjoy The Nerdist a bit more after I realized that the podcast really is meant to be more of a conversation and less of an interview. That being said, I don't listen regularly at all. Only the ones I'm really interested in.

Ant-Man: Surprised at how much I liked it. Want to see it again. Jurassic World: Doesn't even hold a candle to the original (well, maybe if the original is a bonfire or something) but it's easily the 2nd-best movie in the series. Good stuff.

I don't mind Harley's look, actually, so much as I've never liked the idea of her being someone dangerous or murderous enough to be on the Suicide Squad.

Unfortunately, most people are now aware of Harley because of the Arkham games and other modern versions of her. She's more of the sexy biker chick than a harlequin/jester at this point. I know a guy who actually doesn't like the BTAS version of Harley because he thinks that Harley is better as a maniacal murderer than a damaged girlfriend.

Starling is also being renamed to Star City. The producers say that basically the show is progressing on the arc from Arrow season 1 to the Green Arrow comics. Apparently Oliver will actually make jokes now.

No joke, I think about every single outtake with Willem Dafoe in Spider-Man was him cursing like a madman.

Sure, yeah. A GLC space war against Nekron or the Sinestro Corps or something might be fun.
