Gareth
More importantly: True Grit (1969) vs True Grit (2010). True Grit (2010), seriously, it's quite a bit better.

dc20willsave
One of the problems I've had with FlickChart is that they put legitimate films alongside Holiday Specials. You can't rate Charlie Brown Christmas against Sideways because one is a movie and the other is a 30 minute reflection on the holidays made for TV. You Know Who
Blackadder, though it's a close call and I agree with Will.
Stavros
Nightmare is a full on movie, Blackadder's Christmas carol is good but you can't beat the sheer atmosphere and characterisation of the Burton pic.

Stavros
T2. Although I think Tropic Thunder is a great case study in reality-based character comedy that a lot of other films could learn from. The Interview especially.

Stavros
Yeah, South Park is a film that accurately and completely predicts and responds to it's own critics. It's a work of complete genius.
dc20willsave
They really were smart with how they did the show. They did the mostly dumb humor at the beginning and then slowly started to integrate the more intelligent commentary while never forgetting where it came from. Plus, with the relatively short production cycle they have per episode, it makes it one of the few shows that can respond to a topic in days. But hey, to each their own. Gareth
Hey, you can give as many bullet points as you want, but if I don't find it funny or insightful, the length each episode takes to make or the evolution of the humor isn't gonna change that. I don't hate it, really it's just an unpleasant bore.
