Venneh
I continue to boggle that Tatiana was not nominated for her work on Orphan Black, as she is playing half the damn cast.
JackFetch
Pretty much half the internet is saying the same thing.
Dan
Game of Thrones is too huge to ignore, but otherwise genre doesn't get recognition. Ever.
Stavros
I'm slightly appalled as well. Although the fact that Downton Abbey, a series that hasn't been good in two years, is getting 12 noms is an indication of how in touch this all is. They'll still be nominating Brian Cranston for Breaking Bad two years from now.
Koete
Also, Nick Offerman's annual snub.
dc20willsave
The popular joke a decade ago was that Kelsey Grammer would get nominated the year after Fraiser ended because none of the voters would know it wasn't airing anymore. That's the thing. Unlike The Oscars where you have new movies every year, not a ton of the voters bother to watch everything. They might watch the screeners that the stuidios send out but a ton just vote to nominate the same thing every year as reflex. Not a ton bother to watch TV so they go off of what their friends did. Besides, someone could have had an awesome arc but they're only going to watch one episode of it. It's annoying. Not that The Oscars are any better but still. Venneh
Yarp. Hannibal deserved some nominations, but like you said, genre gets fucked.
