Cash
I thought you also had Resident Evil 4, Cash? I wound up selling it to my friend for 40 bucks. I needed the money and he wanted to pay a pretty good price for the game. Had to be done

MaxPower
If I see any of you motherfuckers ever bitch about not having money / being broke / struggling, on any forum, site, public area, I will point everyone to this thread. This is an insane amount of money to spend on this kind of stuff, seriously.
Missy
It's not like all that was bought at once. Span that over several years and it really isn't that big of a deal.
JackFetch
About time to change the title to "last-gen games"
Aaron Robinson
Not necessarily, this thread could still be used to talk about PS3, 360, Wii, PSP and DS libraries. Although I think it might be a good idea to change this to last gen and start up a new topic for new gen libraries, because I’m sure people are still going to buy last gen games over the next couple of years. MaxPower
It's not like all that was bought at once. Span that over several years and it really isn't that big of a deal. Even averaged out over several years, the per month spend (including the systems) is a fair bit. Look at your list, you have about 140 titles over 5 systems. So, even if we assume that you started this when the PS2 first came out in 2001, that is an average of 2 games per month, every month for 6 years. Add the cost of 5 systems, and you gotta admit, that is an expensive hobby. No wonder you don't drink, smoke or do drugs, you couldn't afford to (last statement said in jest, please don't take offense).
Missy
True, I'll admit it's an expensive hobby. However, to my defense, many of the games were not purchased upon their initial release. So though I bought Final Fantasy X and X-2 at the same time, my total was $40 -- not $100. Also consider that many of them were purchased using gift cards, others were presents and a few were copies given to me for review. Your last statement is quite true; one of the reasons I don't do those things is because they're expensive habits.
Mr. Keith
Meh, I don't drive, so I don't have to worry about paying car insurance or anything in that area. I also save up to buy some of these games and split rent/utilites so that I'm not spending a huge amount. So really, I do have money to burn. And as Yoda said, some these games were gifts from family/friends. But yeah, some people do own a lot of games around here. And I'm definitely one of those people. JackFetch
I do a lot of trade-ins to cut the costs. That's actually how I got my 360. I traded in my XBox, Gamecube, and games to get it. That was a rough month without games.
