James D.
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi Vol. 1--Two 12-year-old kids are transported to various alternate dimensions that parody famous animes. Along the way, they encounter alternate versions of their relatives and their shopping district where they live and work. It's absolutely hysterical. (Rated +17 for lots of adult humor and nudity.) Missy
How close is this to the anime? I think she might have seen bits of episodes when this was on G4 a few months back, and thought it was too weird.

I think she might have seen bits of episodes when this was on G4 a few months back, and thought it was too weird. It's pretty similar. So far, I haven't found all that many discrepancies. Oh, well. Missy
That doesn't mean she won't read it. I'm just saying she already has a bit of a bias.
James D.
I've actually decided to review Abenobashi the anime in March or April. The main reason is the ending of the series just annoyed me to no end and it'll be about time I have a somewhat negative review on The Show.
