Donomark
It's news to me! I didn't know he was Tom in Green Lantern!Loving that Hela is the villain. Goldblum in anything is awesome, plus no "Comedy Sodding Sidekicks" (copyrightIanWilson2013) in a movie 95% in Asgard. Sounds awesome

dc20willsave
She never crossed my mind for who I would see in the part but now that I'm hearing it, it's already starting to gel.
Donomark
I like Brie Larson but what about someone older? Half of the male Avengers are around their late 40s, early 50s. Isn't Carol supposed to be their contemporary in the comics?
Dan
I always think of Larson as being younger than she actually is (26, 29 or 30 by the time her movie actually comes out) for some reason. It seems like she's too young to be as advanced in the military as Carol traditionally is (although that may not be the route the films take), and standing next to the other Avengers she's certainly quite a bit younger than most of them. That said, she's a hell of an actress.

JackFetch
One of the most boring characters in my opinion. I have no desire to see him in a movie.

Dan
The big problem us that the only way Namor is in any way interesting (warrior king of Atlantis who's here to fuck up the surface world's shit) is almost guaranteed to be done by DC with Aquaman first. Donomark
Yeah, just like Atom turning into a giant in Legends of Tomorrow and Ant-Man turning into Giant Man, it'll be a battle of who gets there first.

Dread
Y'know, I may have missed the "one year ago" part, but I did catch that she was promoting The Room, but that was in the UK. They always get movies late.

Oh well, who knows? If I was making Namor, I would combine the Golden Age and his FF resurgence with Atlantis Attacks by having a young Namor amnesia-ridden and heading into 1939 World's Fair in New York shortly after Human Torch is activated. A massive battle ensues and then, they have to team up and fight Attuma who had taken over Atlantis during the young prince's absence. Donomark
If you watch the panel (I'm assuming it's available on YouTube), they randomly brought her out in the final thirty seconds. It was pretty wacky.
