RSS
I think it's pretty safe to say that a large number of people reading this are diehard fans of something geeky, be it comic books, video games, science fiction, whatever. I also think it's safe to say that when something is created specifically for the fans of whatever medium (or genre) we're talking about, it can be enjoyed on a much deeper level. In the case of anime / manga, Genshiken is a great example of this; it is a series created by diehard manga fans for diehard manga fans about diehard manga fans. Kscriv
Any thoughts?
James D.
Yeah. I'll be picking this up soon. I've actually debated on whether or not to start buying this series (the anime or the manga) several times, but if it's like you say it is, I'll probably love it. Kscriv
Trust me you'll luff it. Also Manga>Anime in this case. Both are good, but the anime is much to short (though the OVA's may fix that)
Kenji Sumachi
If you want to help increase your otakuness, you should check this out. I kinda classify this as the Life and Times of an Otaku.
Kscriv
Hell, if you are an otaku, you can read this book and accuretely describr yourself as a blend of the characters (45% Sasahara, 55% Kousaka here) EDIT: Fixed error, also raised Kousaka points
Kenji Sumachi
50% Sasahara, 20% Madarame, 20% Tanaka, 10% Kugayama

Skyre
Been a while since I last came to this site. Good review Kscriv. I definitely agree with you that other otakus will relate to this. I'll try to figure out my character mix once I have time. You'll also be glad to hear that Brennan and Katie have now gotten addicted to this series and are starting to get everybody who's still in Selkirk addicted as well. Kscriv
Personally I want to hear NVez's response. He's essentially a male Saki
Skyre
Hmm... Not quite sure if he's seen it yet. Oh, well. Come Chibi-con time Brennan will surely force him to watch this as well as Colorful.
