The Simpsons and Futurama... anime style!

Mr burns looks awesome. I want to see an entire enpisode done in the anime style. That sort of thing worked out well for south park.

That's awesome!

Otto has the whole "bus driver by day, badass by night" look going quite well. And Lisa looks pretty much exactly like what I'd picture her as in an anime/manga. Kooky.

But both pics are fantastic.

haha, pretty cool

Why are Lisa and Milhouse holding hands?

She seems to have an aprehensive look on her face, so my guess would be that he grabbed it.

At first I thought maybe he placed his hand on her knee and she was removing it, but that can't be the case because her hand is on the bottom. If she was removing his hand from her knee, hers would be on top. So maybe you're right.

From the artist's deviantart page:

Long story short: Bongo Comics, Matt Groening's comic book company, is hiring me to do the pencils for a short manga-style Simpsons comic. Also, I've been contacted by 20th Century Fox. They want me to do work for them somehow. I might get a design job for the upcoming new Futurama series!

Hahaha, the Futurama one just confirms my original thoughts about Zapp Brannigan, that he is a total rip off of Sierra's Roger Wilco from the Space Quest series :)

when I've seen people try to make simpsons their own in the past the hair always ends up looking stupid. Lisa's is still a little sketch but Marge and her sisters' hair (usually the most obvious problem) look amazing. very good translation
