KnightWing Posted December 13, 2011 Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 I wish they'd gone with something like this fan design: It doesn't have "briefs," so there's no underwear-on-the-outside jokes, but there's still some red there to break up the color and keep your eyes from drifting to his crotch. The suit seems to have taken a cue from the redesign, and has a similar feel to the Spiderman movie suit redesign, in the fabric. Overall, feels really sleek. Yeah, I remember a quote from Jim Lee where he said that it was a coincidence. And really, other than the lack of briefs (which was something a lot of people said needed to happen), this movie suit's not too much like the New 52 one. The colors are really muted. I dunno, Superman should be brighter to me. Not a huge complaint, but, still a minor bit off putting. I concur. The fabric that they're using seems similar to me, on the two costumes. I think the difference is that Spider-Man's has a netted rubbery texture layered over fabric, while Superman's is more like stretchy rubber stuff entirely.
