Delete
Except 300 captured the feel of Miller's graphic novel pretty much perfectly. And Dawn of the Dead was one of the few good remakes. Was 300 written and drawn in super slow motion?
drqshadow
I can't think of a slower "motion" than paneled sequential artwork.
Aaron Robinson
Frankly, that's the one element that would have thrown non-hardcores for a loop and may have turned them off to the film. It could work without. I cannot see how what they changed it to could work. You know, I was just reading about this, and I actually kind of like it. I’d be delighted if they had gone with the alien idea, but I’m willing to admit it would go over a lot of people’s heads. I think imitating Dr. Manhattan’s powers still works well as a grand scheme, even if it’s not quite as visceral.
Stavros
I think its quite possibly better, although how that depends on how it plays into Dr Manhatten's alienation from the Human race.

Missy
New trailer.
Stavros
I now there are obvious evident changes just because of the trailers, but this still looks pretty damn awesome. Much better than V for Vendetta.

Dread
300 was visually hard to beat and DotD was the way it was because Snyder gets it. He didn't remake DotD, he modernized it. DotD was a seventies action flick that just happended to have zombies. The remake was a modern action flick with zombies. That's all. And that trailer is un-fucking-real! Can't wait. JackFetch
New behind the scenes preview! This one is about the ladies. Oh, and the new theatrical trailer is here.
Molly
The new trailer is really, really good, with one concern. They're referring to the Watchmen as a group that existed, rather than Viedt and Gardner's pipe dream.
Missy
Looks good, but Rorschach's voice is a little too much like Bale's in The Dark Knight.
Molly
I said the exact same thing. I always read R with a more dead, monotone voice. No growl needed.
Aaron Robinson
I guess we're all kindred spirits. First thing I noticed was how close it was to Bale’s Batman voice.
Missy
Since it's still a few months away, maybe they'll change it. Plus, with his mouth being hidden behind the mask, it shouldn't be too hard to do.
Molly
Honestly, Jeffery Combs nailed it in JLU, even though he was Question (who was basically Rorschach in that continuity, anyway.)
Stavros
Looks pretty damn cool. This is a production aimed at fanboys.

Weyoun was The Question? I had no idea!

Missy
I've never seen Re-Animator, so he'll always be Weyoun (and now The Question) to me.
