Scenes from last night:

J: Your boyfriend is Luther Arkwright trash.

(a bit later)

J: Ugh, stop it, SMS.

Me: I do believe the phrase is "can't stop, won't stop"

Me: Yeah, I just Taylor Swifted Arkwright

J: My girl.

(we may need to come with a warning for diabetes or something.)

Adventures in families taking public transport:

My dad and sister came down to Chicago yesterday. They made it out to the Evanston-Davis stop in time to catch the last Metra train up to Kenosha. However, in their unending brilliance, they waited on the wrong side of the station, and thus missed the last train out, making it so that they had to catch a taxi to Kenosha.

Years ago, I had a LiveJournal. I mainly wrote in it between the years of being a college sophomore and kind of junior. It was basically just me bitching and being a bad-spelling, generally toxic person. After watching a Vlog about cleaning your internet dust, I decided to reread the thing. It was cathartic and, seeing that there was no reason for it to exist anymore, deleted the thing. That was more cathartic.

For my D&D campaign tonight, my party doesn't know what to expect. They at most suspect vampires. Little do they know that they're facing death-cultist vampires conspiring to summon the king of hell to devour the sun.

Yeah. I go overboard sometimes.

Today I was driving near a school and slowed down to 25 mph. the truck behind me honked their horn. I looked behind and saw the person had a "Oh wait I get it" look on his face nodded apologetically and gave me a thumbs up for respecting the safety of the children.

And that is what road rage is like in Indiana.
