Stavros
That pretty much sums up what I felt about that book. Vapid exploitative nonsense.
Luke
Did you read any Transmetropolitan yet, D.W? I ask because, from looking at your (very good) comic tastes in this thread, I think it's something you'd really enjoy.
Guest
It's definately something I intend on picking up. I had the first trade on special order at work a month or so ago and never bought it. Pretty much everything in this thread, I've been reading for free, but anything special ordered, I have to buy, so it's basically been a money issue up to this point, but I will get on it soon, if nothing else but to get the stench of Wanted off of me. Guest
Ha. No. The first trade, which is like, super short.
Missy
Yeah, that first one is really short, but the rest are of normal length.
Guest
Good book. Can't beat a two-headed cat smoking a cigarette in the street. Liked the overlaying theme, though the book doesn't have a decided sense of urgency, so this will likely end up as a book that I read in between other books. Missy
As the series progresses it really becomes an edge-of-your-seat book.
