Missy
Just before placing my DCBS order for the month I came to realize that I'm ordering more DC comics than Marvel. Okay, if you count the five issues of Countdown as one item, sure, then I'm ordering five books from each publisher. But still, this is a big leap for me. Here's my order DC Countdown #17 Countdown #16 Countdown #15 Countdown #14 Countdown #13 Green Arrow / Black Canary #4 Legion of Superheroes #38 Robin #170 Teen Titans: Year One #1 Indy Atomic Robo #4 Witchblade, volume one: Witch Hunt TPB Youngblood #1 Marvel Uncanny X-Men #494 What If? Spider-Man v Wolverine X-Factor #27 X-Factor, volume zero: Madrox - Multiple Choice X-Men #207 Other January Previews
Missy
I should note that the reason my monthly order is so small, especially on the Marvel side, is because I recently shifted to trades on most of the comics I read. Dread
Teen Titans: Year One #1 I thought you were waiting on the trade?
Missy
HA! I knew someone would notice that! I'm ordering the first issue of TT:YO because, even though I love what little I've seen of the art and writing, I want to make sure the trade is worth getting six months down the road. Plus, DCBS was offering #1 for 75% off. Spending $0.74 now to test a series seemed smarter than dropping $10 blindly on a trade.

I'm waiting to hear what you say about it before buying the trade...

Missy
Next month there will be even more DC comics! Booster Gold #0 Countdown #12 Countdown #11 Countdown #10 Countdown #9 Detective #841 Green Arrow / Black Canary #5 Legion of Superheroes #39 Nightwing #141 Robin #171 Tiny Titans #1 And depending on their DCBS discounts (and my financial situation), I might also order several of the following collections: Faker Green Arrow: Year One Nightwing: The Lost Year Showcase Presents: Booster Gold Superman: 3-2-1 Action The world is going topsy-turvy! Missy
Okay, by no means is my December DCBS order complete (I still have a month to finalize it), but my initial order looks like this: DC Booster Gold #0 Countdown #12 Countdown #11 Countdown #10 Countdown #9 Detective Comics #841 Faker TPB Green Arrow / Black Canary #5 Legion of Superheroes #39 Nightwing #141 Robin #171 Tiny Titans #1 Indy Atomic Robo #5 Youngblood #2 Marvel Clandestine #1 Ghost Rider #20 Giant-Size Astonishing X-Men #1 Uncanny X-Men #495 Wolverine #62 X-Factor #28 X-Force #1 X-Men #208 Other February Previews Once again, it looks like DC will win the month; there are 12 DC books (nine if you count Countdown as one), and eight Marvel comics. In fact, I'm ordering more DC comics than all other comics combined! Booster Gold #0, Nightwing #141, Clandestine #1, Wolverine #62 and Ghost Rider #20 all might get the boot, however. So might X-Men #208. It's new title post Messiah Complex is X-Men: Legacy, which sounds like a retro book to me. If that's the case, I doubt I'll continue buying it. Hopefully Marvel will release more info before all orders have to be placed.
ragernok2002
whats Nightwing the lost year?
Missy
From the solicitation copy: Nightwing: The Lost Year This volume, collecting NIGHTWING #133-137 and NIGHTWING ANNUAL #2, explores the lost year of Dick Grayson's life, after he quit being the Dark Knight’s partner and before he joined the New Teen Titans. It's the year a friend, a foe, and a love from the past returned from the darkness to haunt him and changed his life forever. So Nightwing: Year 1.5? ragernok2002
I have to say my pull list is the opposite to yours Yoda. It's mostly Marvel with bits of Darkhorse, Image, Dynamite and Wildstorm, I gave up all of my DC comics

Malpractice
Mike, I am glad to see you are getting Nightwing again! I was loving Marv's run and was really mad that they just kind of kicked him off the book but Peter Tomasi's run is looking to be pretty good as well. Missy
Currently Nightwing is no longer on my order, however, I have some financial wiggle room, so it could wind up back on there.
