Guest
Rob Zombie- Dragula I used to really really like this song until they shoved it into about 700 video games in the span of two months.

Aaron Robinson
I watched Foo Fighters play yesterday. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I ended up having a ton of fun. Dave Grohl is probably the most energetic musician I’ve seen live. The dude knew exactly how to keep the fans happy.
James D.
Haste the Day - Pressure the Hinges: Fucking awesome hardcore album. The title track has one of the greatest breakdowns ever--i.e., the part of a hardcore song where idiots flail their appendages around trying to KILL AIR OMG~. James D.
Haste the Day - Pressure the Hinges ah music to scare emo kids Maybe. In all seriousness, Haste the Day is a Christian metalcore band (besides being post-hardcore), so I'm not sure that scaring people is the point of their music. Aaron Robinson
I really need to start seeking out new music. My attempts at finding something new on Last FM have been in vain, as it just keeps coming up with artists I already listen to. Any suggestions from my fellow earth-2-ers? If it’s any help, I’m spending most of my time listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle (along with other Patton projects), Primus, Queens of the Stone Age and Devin Townsend. I'd say you're doing just fine! I suggest Turbonegro for good ole fashioned "homoerotic cuz we're secure in our sexuality" denim-wearing rock n fucking roll. And also Nick Cave. Luke
Yes, everybody everywhere should listen to Nick Cave, and worship him as a God. Complete with bloody virgin sacrifices.
Luke
In other news- Tiamat- Amanethes- Good new album from an established metal band I'm just starting to get into. Type O Negative- Dead Again- A fair few months after its release, I'm really beginning to appreciate this one more. Type O are weird like that; at first their music sounds like your average metal that you either like or dislike, but after listening more carefully the intricacies become far more apparent. Combichrist- Everybody Hates You- Because there’s nothing like a bit of Aggrotech to brighten my day.
James D.
Punk Goes Crunk -- A bunch of punk/hardcore bands cover popular rap/hip-hop songs and GOD is it funny. Set Your Goals does a cover of "Put Yo Hood Up" by Lil Jon and they make it Star Wars-themed.
