dc20willsave
Every year at the beginning of the year I take my 25 most played songs, put them in a playlist, then wipe the plays from my iTunes. These were the 25 for last year.

Venneh
So apparently Glee ripped off JoCo's arrangement of "Baby Got Back". This should be interesting...

Professor
I now have the complete Buckethead collection. I have two thoughts. 1) He has made a metric shit-ton of music. 2) I think my brain will melt during this. Bring it on. That was me in September. I'll admit I didn't start this musical journey for whatever reasons. That ended two hours ago. Mind you, I haven't even started Buckethead proper yet. My bright idea was to start with the side projects and finish with the good stuff. I have encountered only what I can describe as 'mindfuck jazz'. I just don't have words. 1 down, 71 more albums to go.
Professor
Frankenstein Brothers: Bolt On Neck - Just some nice guitar rock. Much needed after that last album. Shine: Heaven and Hell - Um, I don't know what to call this. House? Trance? Electronica? Either way, this not only helped my headache, but is pretty good as well. Movement 6 reminds me of the Crow for some odd reason. 3/
Professor
Buckethead: From the Coop - Early demos. At times, you can hear things that will become staples. Other times it is just random noises making unlistenable music. I now know why iTunes used 'unclassifiable' for the genre. I don't think I shall ever listen to this again; it is just too unrefined to be any good. 4/

Guest
I'm starting a six month trek to finally put out an album's worth of music I'm happy with.
Dread
It's funny, because we sort of came up with that at the same time. I'm doing a concept EP.
dc20willsave
Dubs, considering how I've been enjoying what I've heard from what you posted on Facebook, can't wait. Des, I will be very disappointed if it doesn't have a track called "Werewolf Love."
Dread
Hah! Funnily enough...wolves play a part. Maybe that will be a disco b side
Koete
I expect a cover of "Welcome to the Horror of My Mind."

Dread
Gah! First Jeff Hanneman gets a spider bite that gives him necrotizing fascitiit flesh eating disease, and now Dave Lombardo has been fired for wondering why he hasn't been paid in months. The two least important members to Slayer's sound are the only members playing the Australian tour, and they are officially dead to me now. Sad... Dread
Had a long drive today. Part of my soundtrack was Panopticon's new album, Kentucky. It's a bizarre mix of black metal and bluegrass.

Dread
Also, if Queens of the Stone Age had balls this big, they'd be my favorite band:
Venneh
NIN's "Head Like a Hole" mashed with the backing track to "Call Me Maybe". It's bizarrely awesome.
dc20willsave
Probably going to see Rush on the 2nd. More than a little excited.
Gareth
This may be old news but I recently discovered these guys who take songs and alter them to make the major/minor depending on the original. My favorites: (at 12:37 Rainbow Connection in minor) ^This guy also has a lot of great Beatles songs he transposed
Professor
I have restarted my Buckethead listen-thru after abandoning it a few months ago. Two Death Cube K albums in. I am confused and a little lost but wide awake. I have made the decision to classify this in the Buckethead genre, because I have no idea what the fuck else to call it.
