Koete
DCBS has "The Nobody" for 55% off, only $8.99. It's a 144 Vertigo OGN HC by Jeff Lemiere who's gotten a lot of critical acclaim for his Essex County Trilogy. The tiny, isolated fishing village of Large Mouth never saw much excitement — until the arrival of the stranger, that is. Wrapped from head to toe in bandages and wearing weird goggles, he quietly took up residence in the sleepy town’s motel. Driven by curiosity, the townfolk quickly learn the tragic story of his past, and of the terrible accident that left him horribly disfigured. Eventually, the town embraces the stranger as one of their own — but do his bandages hide more than just scars? Inspired by H.G. Wells’ The Invisible Man, THE NOBODY explores themes of identity, fear and paranoia in a small community from up-and-coming alternative comics creator and Xeric Award-winner Jeff Lemire (The Essex County Trilogy) in a special two-color story that’ll have you guessing until the very end. elnino14
Can somebody tell me what's up with Hitman? I've seen it on a lot of people's lists and I want to know why?
Missy
Bestowed with limited psychic powers and X-ray vision, Tommy Monaghan is a hitman living in Gotham City. He runs afoul of mobsters, demons, superheroes and soldiers. Despite the humor seen throughout the series, it's actually a very dark and serious book. It's also one of Ennis' strongest runs. SuaveStar
I just e-mailed about shipping to the UK. I hope to get a reply as I am sick of being conned in comic shops for books I want. Also do they old trades as well as new ones as I really want to get the first trade of tiny titans.
Dread
It was an extra $14 to ship to Canada which i thought was fair and still saves me over Amazon on trades. I think you can edit your order after you place it by adding the old trades to it on the site...if what I think is correct is correct that is. Dread
A question: Say next month I only have a few comics to buy and don't want to pay the $20 for shipping on $10 of stuff, can I order them the next month or is that not cool?
Missy
DCBS allows late orders, but I'm not sure if the charge for said books will be added to the month in which they were solicited (and should have been ordered), or the month in which they were ordered. You'll have to shoot them an e-mail to find out.
Dread
You can order, then email asking them to hold your shipment until the next month. Perfect.
SuaveStar
I haven't got a reply to my e-mail yet. Edit: Got my reply: Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. We base all of our international shipping rates on the weight of the package. If you could please give us an idea of what you like to purchase, we can give you an approximate shipping rate. Please let us know if you have any more questions. We appreciate your business! Thanks, Carrie What nice people. I think I'm going to try out Batman and Robin and a few trades if i can from them. I've replied with what i'm interested in comic wise and it really wasn't that much.

SuaveStar
I think all I want is going to cost like $7.00. I'll be really just paying for the shipping, and as long as it's cheaper than going to the comic shop, I'm happy.
Missy
It won't be cheaper. Previously, I've worked out the math: in America your monthly DCBS order would have to be around $15 to make it worthwhile. Otherwise, trips to the store would still be less expensive. Now I don't know what shipping to the UK would be, but you won't be saving money on a $7 order.
Dread
My payment for shipping is like $20. Making it at least fifty to break even. I think.
Missy
I should say, that $15 was based on $2.99 books.
