J Marv
The symbiote suit looks good, but not right. If that makes any sense.
MaxPower
The symbiote suit looks good, but not right. If that makes any sense. Yes it doesn make sense, but I think it's his hair that isn't looking right
JackFetch
Want to see Venom? Look at the pictures to see some concept art of him. He looks like Spiderman, only bigger and cooler.

JackFetch
From Superhero Hype: First he named Spider-Man, then he defeated Spidey as a theater usher, and now he gets to play a villain? Film Ick is reporting a rumor that Bruce Campbell may be playing Quentin Beck (aka Mysterio) on the set of a Spidey movie being made within Spider-Man 3. The site says that Avi Arad and Sam Raimi will have cameos as the producer and director of the film. If you go back a couple pages you'll see that I actually said this back in June. JackFetch
While the new Spider-Man 3 trailer will be shown on TV during MTV's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel" at 10p.m. ET on Thursday, you'll be able to watch the trailer online at iFilm at that time as well! The trailer will then play in theaters with Casino Royale starting November 17. I can't wait to see what they put in the new trailer. AICN had these pics up and Sony had them removed. They are early concept art.

Yeah, they are a little late with the whole "extreme" fad.
JackFetch
Here's the first full trailer. IFilm posted a little early by accident. http://www.retrocrush.com/archive2006/spiderman3/
J Marv
I evil Spidey. Throwing the grenade at Harry? AWESOME. And that trailer had almost no signs of Venom, so hopefully its just something that happens in the end.

They showed Venom to the hardcore comic fans, but didn't even put him in the real trailer. It must be a really small part.
Dread
Is it just me or are they showing wayyyyy too much of the movies in the trailers lately? Two and a half minutes? Too long, too much content, too much!! On another note: Sandman killed Uncle Ben?
Missy
On another note: Sandman killed Uncle Ben? It wasn't a surprise to me, 'cause I read the rumor / spoiler months ago, but I'm truly shocked they revealed that in the trailer. Anyone else feel Spidey looked a little to digital? Hopefully they'll clean that up in the next six months.
JackFetch
It just seemed like an extended version of the teaser. Nothing new was shown except Sandman getting his powers. It seems like they made the Spidey suit brighter and more colorful to make it stand out against the black one.
Dread
Anyone else feel Spidey looked a little to digital? Hopefully they'll clean that up in the next six months. Yeah, I thought that too. Looks too CG-y. Think they'll fix it if it's been used in the trailer?
J Marv
Anyone else feel Spidey looked a little to digital? Hopefully they'll clean that up in the next six months. Yes, and no. The scene with the flag? Yikes, yes. The symbiote suit? I don't know. Depends on the origin they use for it. If its a natural thing, then yes it was too digital. If it's an alien he yanked from some machine accidentally (like the original symbiote) then no (since it took Peter himself almost a year to figure out the symbiote suit wasn't synthetic). Missy
Sorry 'bout the confusion, but I meant during his leaping and flipping scenes.
J Marv
Sorry 'bout the confusion, but I meant during his leaping and flipping scenes. Ehh...still. Definitely in his red and blue suit. Again, it depends on where they're going with the symbiote. If it's technological in nature, I don't really care if it makes his motions too fluid and looks unnatural, because it should, at the very least, be clearly different from regular Spidey in some way other than the color scheme. The symbiote changes his character in nearly every way, it doesn't just enhance his abilities.
Chops
Saw the trailer debut last night on Comedy Central. One thing that puzzled me, how could he have the symbiot suit neatly folded in the drawer? Oh, I still stand by what I said a long time ago, Topher Grace as Eddie Brock is a horrendous decision. Missy
My guess is that there will be a twist: we're supposed to think it's turned Peter's costume black and / or maybe bonded with it, when in actually it's turned his costume black and is inside Peter. Hell, they're really pushing the whole "evil inside you" thing, so maybe it projects Peter's dark thoughts, so it was really Parker's inner demons which made the costume black and not "Venom" itself. Eh I hope not. The venom storyline is a bit of a hardsell on the bigscreen they need to keep it simple.
