Missy Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 Anyone else catch the North American premier of this Doctor Who spin-off? Honestly, for what it is -- an all-ages, family-friendly sci-fi / horror program (or is that programme?) -- it isn't that bad. Okay, the idea that a 60 year old woman would run around having adventures with three children is a tad silly, but, if you can accept the show as being for a family audience, it's fun. Not great, just fun. My only real gripe with the first episode was Kelsey Harper, Maria's friend. Christ on a stick, that girl was annoying! And I couldn't understand most of the words coming out of her mouth! Thankfully, my understanding is that the character was dropped after the first episode. Hopefully she'll stay far, far away.
