JackFetch
Collider.com talked to writer/director/producer Adam McKay who says that he and Will Ferrell are definitely planning a sequel to 2004 comedy hit Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. "I'm looking to do another movie, I might do this other movie called 'Channel 3 Billion' which is kind of this science fiction/Brazil type comedy. Then after that, Will and I are like let's do 'Anchorman 2'... so you're talking like 2 years maybe we'll do it. But we're going to do it, for sure," he said. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=44658 I loved Anchorman but how about doing something different for a change? Dread
I like the idea of Channel 3 Billion but sincerely doubt someone will be able to get something Brazil-like released in theatres...
JackFetch
The comedy Anchorman 2 will be produced under mogul Judd Apatow’s banner. Adam McKay will direct as well as write the script with Will Ferrell who will star again as Ron Burgundy along with the 2004 original’s castmembers Steve Carell and Paul Rudd. Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy had been a DreamWorks production but Paramount took over the project after DreamWorks 2.0 departed the studio. http://www.deadline.com/2012/03/will-ferrell-returns-for-anchorman-2/
