Venneh
That made me bawl. Why couldn't they have shot that?
Missy
Thinking about it, had they cut out all of the detective stuff, which really wasn't needed for anything except flavor, they could have filmed that scene.
Kenny Evil
Yeah, I think people who had a problem with how the show ended would have been much happier if this was in there.

Stavros
Wow, I know people were hoping for a Doctor/Brian scene but it wasn't really about the Doctor in the end. Instead of anger at the Doctor and the consequences of travelling with him instead we get a genuine resolution between the characters it really matters to. Beautiful stuff. Stavros
I will buy depending on who's writing it.
Dan
I will buy depending on who's writing it. I'll be shocked if it's not Tony Lee; he's the guy writing the bulk of the Who stuff now and he generally does a good job with it.
Stavros
Off on a two day trip to Ireland tomorrow so I've pre-loaded my ipod with Who stories- Caves of Androzani, Spearhead from Space and Underworld. Looking for one more, any suggestions? Bearing in mind that I'm limited by the itunes selection and I've seen much of Baker's run. I'd really like Inferno but it's not there. I'd be open to a good Master story.
dc20willsave
I remember really enjoying The Sea Devils. That or Terror of the Autons if you're looking for a non-Baker Master Story. Though if you hate yourself, there's always Time-Flight...
Stavros
Terror of the Autons sounds good, Delgado's first story. Good call Will.
slothian
Timelash! Then you'll get to see Blake's 7's Avon mince about in a Richard III wig, cackling evilly!
Stavros
Watched Caves on a ferry from ireland to scotland, first time I've seen it since I was about ten. Jek is somehow even creepier now, but it says something when the fetish-suited wannabe rapist who builds robots to kill any humans who come near and hoards the cure for ageing is practically the anti-hero. The monsters were awful but the story was brilliant, almost needed to be bumped up to six parts to fit everything in.

dc20willsave
I remembered them saying that at the beginning of the production cycle that they were going for "a season of 13 blockbusters."
Stavros
That indicates that there will be NO two-parters for the entire season. Haven't some two parters been written/directed by different people? Or they could be two-parters in the sense that Bad Wolf and Parting of the Ways are, related but thematically divergent. Stavros
Just watched the space/time specials from a while back, hilariously dirty-minded. Pond flirting with herself and Rory contemplating a three-way was hardly family friendly but I heartily approve.
