dc20willsave
The Christmas Special, and how much the trailers are getting the hype up for me, are the main reason I'm thinking of doing my day at the movies on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day. Stavros
@Will Damn Christmas, getting in the way of tradition.
dc20willsave
Well, to be fair, my tradition is to spend the day at home, watching Christmas specials in my pajamas and blogging about it. Last year, I changed it up, did that on Christmas Eve, and spent Christmas Day at the movie theater. It would be keeping to tradition still, just a slight altering. Stavros
It's a fine tradition. I'll be watching Breaking Bad with my Dad and Brother.

Rjoyadet
The Tardis interior of Doctor Whooves. I think the artist ,Edowaado, likes the eight doctors design. I don't blame him. Its my favorite.
Donomark
http://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/what-if-eccleston-had-returned-for-50th-56889.htm I like his reasoning for making up a new Doctor. Once he broke it down, it all made sense on how the War Doctor wouldn't be either 8 nor 9.
Stavros
Hmm. I don't think that's a good enough reason. I mean don't get me wrong, the final product was great and I really like the concept of the War Doctor, but in this situation I think McGann could easily have been that Doctor who burned Gallifrey, in fact I assumed for the entire length of the modern series that he was. I don't see the barrier that Moffat does.
Kenny Evil
I agree. Look at McGann in "Night of the Doctor". He only really needs a little push to be the one to be ready to use The Moment.
Dan
Billie Piper will be at Gallifrey 2014 this February. This is her first con appearance not run by the BBC.
Rjoyadet
I am finding listening to the Big Finish Drama "Chimes of Midnight" to be a new Christmas tradition.
Stavros
Suddenly realised that when the Doctor finds Gallifrey, he will also find The Master. Sweet...

Stavros
Bit too over-referenced for my taste, some baddies we didn't really need. Good though, the ending really brought Smiths run home pretty strong.
slothian
I enjoyed it, and it resolved several things. Of course, I am not everyone. Matt Smith ends on a personal high.
Stavros
That is true, it wrapped up a lot of stuff I thought they'd never go back to. Great first line for Capaldi.
Pan-dub
I need more Capaldi as quickly as possible.
Dan
Nice to see he's keeping the accent. That was well done. Very good that they didn't hammer "The Doctor is going to DIE!!!!!!!!!" into the ground.
Venneh
I'm kind of worn out on Moffat's writing at this stage, tbh, though I appreciated the last ten minutes the most. Two things: So, the regeneration the cracks in time gave him - is it just the one, or does he have a whole new cycle of twelve regenerations now? Realization: the last thing Eleven sees before regeneration is Amy. He regenerates with a Scottish accent. I want moar Capaldi NOW.
dc20willsave
So, Tasha Lem is River, isn't she?
Dan
So, the regeneration the cracks in time gave him - is it just the one, or does he have a whole new cycle of twelve regenerations now? He said it was a new cycle, so in theory we should be good through Doctor Twenty-Four.
Rob the kid
I liked it, I thought it summed up the 11th's doctor time really well.
