Stavros
I'm really getting into my classic 4th Doctor Who right now. I can download the series straight to my ipod touch and they're pretty cheap, so I've been splashing out a little. I'd previously got Pyramids of Mars and The Deadly Assassin, and this morning I picked up Ark in Space and The Sontaran Experiment, both of which lead into my favourite Who story, Genesis of the Daleks. I wish the available library was more comprehensive, but still, its cool that they're there. Wish there were more classic who villain stories though, no Daleks or Cybermen to be found at all. edit: The Sontaran Experiment is rendered hilarious by the fact that all the astronauts speak in a weird scottish/aussie hybrid language. Stavros
Really though, whose favorite Doctor Who story isn't Genesis of The Daleks? Only real competition for me is Blink. Of course, The Talons of Weng-Chiang has its fans. But no, Genesis of the Daleks is pretty much the best thing ever in Who. Looking forward to that Bigger on the Inside review immensely. jakob1978
Really though, whose favorite Doctor Who story isn't Genesis of The Daleks? eh, it's good, but i'm not sure it would make my top 5. I'd put "The War Games" "Kinda" "Caves of Androzani" "Robot's of Death" and "Remembrance of the Daleks" above it (although my fave stories changes all the time depending on my mood). SuaveStar
The Moffat episodes were awesome, as was Amy's choice. The rest I don't care about.

Stavros
Loving some classic Pertwee right now, the double-bill of Spearhead from Space and Terror of the Autons. I'd really like to see more Auton's they've been really well used in the modern series.

dc20willsave
Ditto. Kinda sad but it's not a bad kinda sadness since, if this was American TV, we would have something like 9 more episodes to the Series and we would have had some terrible padding like The Doctor meets Bob Knots and they fight The Quarks. jakob1978
Press release about the Christmas special, with some cast news (Michael Gambon, who i love...yay!) http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2010/07_july/12/doctor_who.shtml
slothian
Michael Gambon being in the Christmas special sounds good. That said, it looks like they're going down the Kylie Minogue route with Katherine Jenkins - I'm never encouraged by the phrase "in their first acting role".
