ShaunKL
That's a British publication right? Don't they refer to everything as "series" now? (I.E. this year we had Series 5/Season 31)

(I.E. this year we had Series 5/Season 31) Yeah, it is. And it's just going by the cover right now and saying, "Talk of next years two seasons" One of my friends sent me a link to the cover, as I don't read the magazine. dc20willsave
From Doctor Who Magazine (and proof that Stephen Moffat is a sadistic magnificent bastard who loves to torture people by giving them hints that only raise further questions as opposed to spoilers.): So what can I tell you about next series? The startling truth about Idris' new soul – even the Doctor doesn't believe her! The frankly appalling revelation concerning the one person in the universe the Doctor trusts the most? Would you like to peek inside a cupboard that will chill your blood, or meet a workforce that will haunt your dreams? Have you ever wondered about Apollo Ten and a half? And have you already guessed that River Song is...

ShaunKL
Oh don't worry, I'm sure the Master will come back as an auton at some point.
dc20willsave
That would be an awesome idea. Take a planet the Doctor has saved and they dedicate part of their culture to him, building a museum dedicated just to The Doctor. Even better if 1) It's a River Song episode and 2) The Doctor accidentally sees some spoilers. Anyway, part of the exhibit is The Doctor's Greatest Enemies, all done in plastic sculptures. Cue the Nestine Consciousness and a classic episode.
slothian
They've actually done that in Cardiff and are touring similar exhibitions around the UK. The one up here in Newcastle ends next month. But yes, if there was an equivalent of the Flash Museum in the Who-niverse, that could be fun. "At one point I steal a plot from an old episode called 'The War Games'," he added.

Koete
IDW DOCTOR WHO comic book series continues with all-new Eleventh Doctor stories Coming in January 2011 IDW Publishing is pleased to announce the official continuation of its partnership with BBC Worldwide with its critically acclaimed DOCTOR WHO comic book series, which will now feature all-new adventures of Matt Smith, the Eleventh Doctor. Earlier this year, the television series Doctor Who delivered BBC AMERICA record ratings and reached the top spot on the iTunes TV chart. This January 2011, IDW Publishing launches DOCTOR WHO #1, kicking off an all-new ongoing comic book series. Penned by mainstay writer, Tony Lee, DOCTOR WHO #1 finds the Doctor and his new companions, Amy Pond and Rory Williams, battling holographic spam and 'friending' requests on a planet that's hours from destruction by an alien race. Artist Andrew Currie brings this debut adventure to life, with Tommy Lee Edwards offering eye-catching covers on each issue. Plus, the Eisner Award winning Fables superstar Mark Buckingham also offers an incentive cover for issue #1, and will provide interior art on an upcoming issue, as well. Kelley Yates will also provide an incentive cover for issue #1, featuring a die-cut gatefold image that allows fans to open the TARDIS and see the Doctor inside. Joining IDW's DOCTOR WHO comic book series for art duties is Richard Piers Rayner (Road to Perdition), who will tackle a run-in between The Doctor and Jack the Ripper in issues #2-4. Artists Matthew Dow Smith (DOCTOR WHO, Starman) and Chris Samnee (Thor: The Mighty Avenger) will also be featured for special story arcs. IDW's new ongoing comic book series promises not to dial down the excitement, offering holographic spam fighting Mad Max-esque mercenaries, Victorian Jack The Ripper suspense, penalty shoot-outs against Vikings and Cybernetic Space Pirate Dinosaurs among the many adventures that the Eleventh Doctor will be having. Said IDW's DOCTOR WHO editor Denton J. Tipton, "There's going to be something for everyone in this story. For example, fans of the classic series should be on the look out for a classic DOCTOR WHO villain!" "I could tell you who they are, but I'd have to kill you," adds Lee. "Let's just say we've been given special dispensation to use them, and we have a killer story - in all senses of the word!" Source Chris Samnee doing a Doctor Who story is going to be fantastic. Edit: Bummer, he's only doing a cover.
jakob1978
Series six will open with a two parter filmed and set in the US (in Utah). http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-11510514
dc20willsave
Scenes will be filmed in the Utah desert for a story set in the late '60s in which the Doctor, Amy and Rory find themselves on a secret summons to the Oval Office. Alex Kingston will reprises her role as River Song. I'm calling it right now. River Song was in the Storm Hold for assassinating JFK. I thought we already established that JFK assassinated himself in order to save his legacy after the Red Dwarf team took him back through time. ShaunKL
I have not gotten to that episode yet, but already I can't breathe. Oh, Red Dwarf? In continuity.
Stavros
12 lives rule is history Boo. It's sci-fi, make it a dramatic point when the time comes and have him being given more lives then. It's a waste to just throw that away.

It's a waste to just throw that away. They'd damn well better deal with this in a better way than a throwaway line. 40 years of continuity deserves more! I'm sure there will a great cry of outrage from the fanbase anyway.
