slothian
12 lives rule is history Boo. It's sci-fi, make it a dramatic point when the time comes and have him being given more lives then. It's a waste to just throw that away. It would be RTD, wouldn't it?!? How can I now claim that Tom Deja is simply jaded if RTD is going to fuck up that bit of Who continuity?!?!? With any luck, no-one will care about The Sarah Jane Adventures.........
dc20willsave
They're doing a throw-away line and I'm sure the Doctor will actually bring it up sometime this season.
ShaunKL
Yeah, I'm really hoping for a throwaway line or two in season 32a/32b. But by benefit of being a throwaway line, that itself can be easily retconned as a lie.
dc20willsave
In it was bound to happen eventually news, Mark Sheppard is in the upcoming series. If you don't know who Mark Sheppard is, if there's been a genre show in the last ten years, more likely than not, he's made an appearance on it. JasonC
It would be pure awesome if he was going to be playing The Master.
ShaunKL
You mean the War Chief. (We've already had one of the writers say he lifted something from The War Games, oh the conspiracy!)

jakob1978
ok...this is rather weird. http://gallifreynewsbase.blogspot.com/2010/10/new-eighth-doctor-costume-revealed.html Paul McGann has shown off his new costume as the eighth Doctor including a new (really detailed) Sonic Screwdriver. The article says that it's BBC approved, but...what's the point? So Big Finish can take some new photos for their covers (but why build a cool wooden panelled sonic?). It's all rather intriguing

Stavros
That looks somewhat practical and time-waresque. I will try to restrain my inner giggling fanboy until we hear something concrete. But it's been WAY too long since we've had a proper two doctors adventure, and no-one deserves it more than McGann.
Missy
I would gush like a schoolgirl if Smith teamed up with McGann!
slothian
I would gush like a schoolgirl if Smith teamed up with McGann! I'd feel somewhat similar, although with a less uneasy metaphor.
Stavros
Mike's metaphor does imply a somewhat morally questionable comparative scientific method has been utilised.
slothian
Also bear in mind that I put together a WFP clips montage this week, so I have had a concentrated dose of Mike smut recently. But enough with that shill! The Matt Smith two-parter of the Sarah Jane Spinoff Spectacular airs tomorrow.

dc20willsave
Ask you doctor about concentrated Mike Smut today.* *Warning. Concentrated Mike Slut may lead to delusions about Time Lord flight, an unwholesome fascination with Guy Gardner, and uncontrollable head to desk collisions. If symptoms persist, see your doctor, not The Doctor.
