JackFetch
Batman had a younger brother? He was talked about in World's Finest #223 and 227: The second son of Thomas and Martha Wayne, and the younger brother of Batman. As an infant, Thomas Jr. had suffered head injuries in a car accident, and had been confined to Willowood Asylum for life. Upon his escape, he was manipulated into becoming the assassin known as the “Boomerang Killer” until Batman learned of his existence and exposed the mastermind behind the killings. Later, Deadman took possession of Thomas’ body to resume his career as an acrobat. Batman tracked down the ghost and demanded that he relinquish his hold on the demented man. When Deadman temporarily left the body, Thomas, Jr. saved his brother’s life by taking a bullet for him. He died a hero. http://www.dcuguide.com/who.php?name=thomaswaynejr Due to DC's constant rebooting of the universe it is unknown(and unlikely) that poor Tommy Jr. ever existed. Got any other weird facts about comics that aren't well known?
Missy
In the earliest issues of (Uncanny) X-Men, Magneto demonstrated psychic powers. In fact, his mental abilities were described as being nearly as powerful as Xavier's.
Dread
Kirby's OMAC: One Man Army Corps for DC started out as a futuristic Captain America story he never got around to.

JackFetch
Alan Moore is a practicing magician who worships a Roman snake deity named Glycon. That explains a lot.
S-T
Due to DC's constant rebooting of the universe it is unknown(and unlikely) that poor Tommy Jr. ever existed. IIRC, he does exist in the anti-matter universe, where Thomas Wayne becomes Owlman after his mom and younger brother Bruce are killed by a police officer. annericelover
Bob Kane was inspired by films like The Mark of Zorro(1920) and The Bat Whispers(1930), the latter film features a man in a cape and cowl who kills after flaring a Bat-Signal outside the next victims window. Dread
Was OMAC going to be Steve's replacement, or was Steve going to become OMAC? Not too sure. His replacement. But he shelved it until he moved to DC. Gotta love Mark Evanier.
