James D.
Alan Rickman is playing the Caterpillar. ME REALLY LIKEY.
Molly
Meh, Sweeney Todd is the only movie that I've not enjoyed Rickman in. I have no faith in Tim Burton, at all. The man does great things with visuals, but is very, very hit or miss with his actors.
JackFetch
From Disney Magazine: It also says that it is a mixture of live action and animation.
Venneh
I can tell you three things about this movie already, knowing nothing else about the production: -Helena Bonham Carter's going to be in it in a major role -Johnny Depp will be in some major role -Danny Elfman will compose

Aaron Robinson
Are you... are you saying that Rickman was bad in Die Hard? Because if so, you and me are going to have words mister.
SuaveStar
Preston forgot to mention Rickman was awesome in Die Hard. I have mid hopes for this as I really hated his intepretation of Charlie and the chocolate factory.
Molly
I said the only thing that I didn't enjoy Rickman in was Sweeney Todd. I loved him in Die Hard. I loved him the most in Dogma, but Die Hard was still awesome.
SuaveStar
Sorry Preston I misread what you wrote. He was great in Dogma as the angel. Again my mistake.

Venneh
Who's Anne Hathaway supposed to be in this? It certainly looks... interesting.
Stavros
Who's Anne Hathaway supposed to be in this? A living Maybelline doll? She's the White Queen. I gotta say the casting for this looks dynamite, Stephen Fry, Alan Rickman, Michael Sheen, Crispin Glover, Anne Hathaway, Johnny Depp, and the ever present HBC, its a hell of a cast that could really make almost any kind of film. I'll watch Fry, Rickman or Sheen in anything as it is.
Molly
I said it before, Johnny Depp looks like a Gene Wilder/Willy Wonka Zombie. And Anne Hathaway actually looks unattractive. Thanks, Burton.
Dread
Am I the only one just completely fucking bored with Burton by now? He'd have to do something that looks like a de Palma film at this point to prove to me he's anything but a one trick pony with a bunch of imagery in the place of actual directorial talent or originality. SuaveStar
If this is like his Charlie and the chocolate factory, looks nice, but is dull and uninteresting, then that means Burton will be the Michael Bay of arty films.

Totally agree, or at the very least, try and do the same thing, but with different people..... At least Phil Jackson switched from MJ to Kobe, Burton seems too scared to go without Depp (or the wife) in case people start thinking it's the cast and not him..... To be fair Alice in Wonderland is really boring to start with.

annericelover
Tim Burton for his last few films has disappointed me a lot, compared to his earlier work(Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, etc)he has went down a bit in quality. But this film is starting to look really good and I love the look Johnny Depp is sporting. So I hope that Burton is developing a good film, because the last time I felt like this it was for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and that turned out be shit. JackFetch
Alice isn't supposed to be hot............or 20 years old. Yes I looked up her age. Actually, in this version she is 17.

SuaveStar
Well, that looks, like it's a movie made for Johnny Depp like charlie and the chocolate factory with Burton then saying "Oh shit, lets splash some paint and some cooky shit, and no one will notice." Anyway, my money is for this to make a killing on Blu-Ray.
KnightWing
I was loving it until Johnny Depp showed up.
