dc20willsave
And that is officially the most fucked up looking Scarecrow I have ever seen.
JackFetch
I've decided to change mine to the regular version. That's way too much money when a lot of other games start coming out around then also.
SuaveStar
I'm going back and forth. It would be nice to have the batarang, but at the same time, I can wait a few months.
JackFetch
The demo comes out this Friday for those on the fence.

SuaveStar
Right, I'm playing the demo right now. It's longer than I was expecting and it is really fun. I can't wait for the game.
Blane
Day one purchase for me. Hamil is bringing the goods too.
SuaveStar
I was sold when I was on a gargoyle, and it said hang, and Batman hung upside down. Like a bat.
Stavros
I absolutely wasn't going to buy it because I try not to buy games as they come out, especially 3rd person perspective games since the quality is so variable. Now I've seen the trailer. Damn you gaming gods, I'm trying to save money and you throw everything you have at me in a few short months! See, I was the same, but try the demo, I don't like having to pay £40-£50 per game, but this changed my mind. True I'm trading in a lot of games as a helper. coolguy
Man i just played the demo, and i was only going to rent the game but now i think that i have to buy it.
Stavros
I just played through the demo and really liked it. The mechanics seem solid but even better is the atmosphere. All the main voices from the DCAU Batman, plus the music is a really cool mix of the tension soundtrack to Dark Knight and the classic refrains of the animated series/Tim Burton films. I may only rent this but I'm sure I'll enjoy a couple of evenings with it.
JackFetch
I switched my pre order from the collector's version to the regular, and the lady said everyone is doing that since they found out that the batarang is made of plastic. 100 bucks for a plastic toy. JackFetch
Anyone lucky enough to pick up a copy today? I get mine tomorrow.
dc20willsave
Was going to get up early to get a copy from Toys R Us but since the roomie is getting a PS3 in a week, going to hold off and buy it with the next paycheck.

JackFetch
I got the strat guide and was looking through it. It lists 30 bosses(if you count TweedleDum and Dee as two)! It has everyone from Hush to Calender Man.
SuaveStar
I just saw a video of someone opening the box, and the Batarng looked fucking shit. Cheap assed plastic.
JackFetch
According to 1Up you can still run around Arkham after finishing the story to finish any collecting you still need to do.
elnino14
Played it for about 1 1/2 hours yesterday. My friend bought it for his 360 and I went over and played it. I really liked it. It's a lot of fun. The game varies up the gameplay quite nicely, giving you combat sections, stealth sections, detective sections and huge set pieces where you can approach the situation whichever way you want. The pacing is a little bit off, sometimes there were long 15 minute stretches where I didn't do anything really. The intro is way too long and overextended. But it was a fun ride, hopefully I'll be able to get a chance to play it in the privacy of my own home and I can pay more attention to everything, instead of having people talking around me and to me.
