The Book of Lies

In Genesis, Cain kills Abel. In 1932, Mitchell Siegel is slain by three gunshots to his chest, prompting his son to dream of a bulletproof protector and create Superman. In both cases, the murder weapon is lost to history. But how is the connection with the bible's greatest villain and the world's greatest hero more than sheer coincidence? Brad Meltzer's The Book of Lies is a delightfully intriguing thriller that spans centuries and continents in search of the answer.

I think I might pick this novel up, though I rarely have time to read anymore.
