RSS
Though it might have reshaped how the world saw Batman, and led directly to the creation of Batman: The Animated Series, Tim Burton's Batman (1989) is a seriously flawed film with bland characters, numerous plot holes and a Batman who has no qualms about killing. Let the ranting begin! [ 3:08:35 || 86.3 MB ] The above is from: http://www.earth-2.net/theshow/episodes/e2ts_266.mp3
Dread
I'm excited to hear this one. I don't know if you guys get into it but a book I'm reading right now posits Batman being an early example of Blockbuster by committee. There's a story of Nicholson carrying Basigner up to the top of the tower: Jack: "Why are we going up here?" Burton: "The studio wanted a tower scene." Jack: "What are we doing when we get there?" Burton: "I don't know."

Guest DCAUFan1051
I just finished listening to the episode and all I can say is the following: Earth-2.net The Show Episode 266 Batman 1989: The James & Ian Show only because I think Mike's seething hatred and utter shock took him over and left him speechless other then the fact we hear a loud "THUD" For the majority of the episode it's James and Ian talking about the movie and Mike pipes up whenever there's an opinion to be made. EXCELLENT episode AND I still say The Datk Knight episode should be some mildstone episode # such as 270-275-280, I know I have to be patient but still can't help expressing my opinion AND if schedules permit it should be Mike, Jenny, James, and Ian as a roundtable type discussion. those are my 2 cents can't wait for more episodes and of course WFP37
