Someone said that someone ought to make it a poll.... So I will....

Setting: Gotham City.

Conditions: Any.

Scientists have excavated a frozen body from the bottom of Crystal Lake, and have transported it over to Gotham City. They thaw the body out so they can examine it better, only to awaken the Titan of Terror that is Jason Vorhees. Jason proceeds to slaughter all those who come in his path.

Batman, after being called by Commisioner Gordon, investigates the massacre(sp?), and tracks down the killer. He proceeds to find Jason before he can make his next kills. Trying to detain him, Batman uses every non-lethal method he has to take Jason down, but to no avail. Without any available options at this time, he escapes with his life intact.

Batman proceeds to dig deeply for info on Jason, and uncovers news reports of the Crystal Lake Killer.

In the mean time, Jason Vorhees continues his rampage, killing one person after the next. He even comes across villains such as the Joker, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, and Two-Face, who barely get away with their lives.

Batman's investigations soon shows promise as he discovers a way to detain Jason.

Now, the question is, will Batman be able to stop Jason Vorhees, or will Jason add Batman to to his growing pile of bodies.

Batman has stopped Superman and a host of other superpowered beings, including Aliens and Predators, so there's no way he can't beat Jason with some help from technology. In the past Batman has employed high-tech gear to win fights, so I'd expect him to don some sort of durable exosuit and his own version of Mr. Freeze's ray to stop the monster.

By no means am I suggesting this will be an easy fight. In fact, I expect Jason to nearly murder Batman. And though Batman gives up strength and size to Jason, he has brains and decades of fighting experience to back him up.

If Batman met him on a street he would get his ass kiscked, but giving him time to thihk about it means he will win. Hell, Jason is really nothing but a blood lusted zombie that doesnt think, just kills, so he could be up against anybody with half a brain and would lose if you gave the other guy time to thihk about a plan.

Actually, Batman has fought the Predators on three separate occasions.

Batman vs. Predator (1991) by Dave Gibbons, and Adam & Andy Kubert

Batman vs. Predator II: Bloodmatch (1995) by Doug Moench, Paul Gulacy and Terry Austin

Batman vs. Predator III: Blood Ties (1997) by Chuck Dixon, Rodolfo Damaggio and Robert Campanella

can you give a run down on them? Any good, was the battle close, moments that stood out?

Number 2 was a really good book, too. It had the predator killing Batman's enemies so that way Batman would be saved for him, it also had 2 extra predators that had showed up to get the first predator. It had pretty good figths, the only down to the book was the inclusion of the Huntress as Batman's ally. Her character came off as annoying and didn't add anythign to the book.

Here are two links with info for the first two minis: Batman vs. Predator, and Batman vs. Predator II: Bloodmatch. And I can't seem to find a suitable link for their third meeting, but the basic plot is this: A young Predator arrives in Gotham and hunts Robin.
