Guest DCAUFan1051
Exactly how does a list prove that you have good taste? I mean, Bruce Campbell shows aside. it doesn't exactly prove anything but instead of Des and I going back and forth on and on I posted the list.... I'm sure there's one or two things on it that we both think is good

JackFetch
There was only one good reason to watch Serendipity... Never seen it, but it's PG-13 so it can't be that good of a reason to see it
Dread
I finally picked up the Alien Quadrilogy because it was so cheap ($15) and it wasn't cheap but I'm of the mind that it was better than the X-Files and I loved it when it was one so I grabbed this:
SuaveStar
Alien quadriliogy is a great purchase. I watched it over a four day period, I watched the film, then the commentary and then the films extras. It was a great and informative few days, even though I never liked three. See, I've never seen Fincher's director's cut of three which I've heard is much better. I kind of liked three. Resurrection was awful. This is a great set. It folds out to be as long as my armspan. SuaveStar
The set has his cut of three. I have to admit I enjoyed four when it first came out, but now, it is easy to see how mediocre it is. My favourite was and always will be two though. James Cameron joins in the commentary which is great to hear.
Guest DCAUFan1051
here's the 2nd half of my order the only things I haven't recieved yet is the S: TAS sets And Lois & Clark Season 1 The BH Cop Movies have commentaries on them which I love that I haven't owned these films on DVD before. Unfortunately the Lethal Weapon films have no commentaries that sucks The Spider-Man DVD show is the original 2 Disc Edition that was released but this has a separate 3rd disc included giving more features for both Spidey 1 & 2 The Animanics sets have like 1 bonus feature each which sucks but I'm glad I've added these to my collection The Lois & Clark DVD's have about 3-4 features per season The NCIS sets are loaded with bonus features throughout. This show is probably the only one I still watch out of the CBS crime dramas i.e.: CSI, CSI Miami etc I don't care what anyone says Innerspace is just a FUN movie

Guest DCAUFan1051
Lois & Clark: The Complete 1st Season SeaQuest DSV Season 2 Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 6 The S: TAS Sets were in there because I hadn't moved them far away enough on the desk
SuaveStar
Nice, but I have to ask, what the hell is seaquest. I picked up quantum leap season 2 and 3. yay.
Guest DCAUFan1051
Nice, but I have to ask, what the hell is seaquest. SeaQuest DSV was a show on TV in the 90's about a Super Submarine and that mankind has colonized every area on earth except under the ocean. Basically take the CBS show JAG and put them in an underwater environment. That's the best way I can describe it. It's a good show I forget what network it was on I think it was NBC but I'm not sure. Guest DCAUFan1051
Unfortunately the Lethal Weapon films have no commentaries that sucks Really, I thought they each had Richard Donner commentary The only one that has a commentary track on it is the fourth film. I bought all 4 films as a complete box set there are very few features on the Lethal Weapon DVDs. There are a behind the scenes featurettes on all four but other then that it's mostly just theatrical trailers. The Beverly Hills Cop DVDs have tons of features but obli BHC I has a commentary the BHC III DVD has the least amount of features.
Guest DCAUFan1051
I've edited this post because when I originally did the post above this one on my iPhone the same thing posted twice ugh!! I've finished watching the special features and everything on the S: TAS DVD's and I'm pleased to say I like the content that's on them. zmy only gripe is that 1 disc in every set is a dual layer disc I hate those. Why couldn't they've just put a third disc in each set grrrr.

Malpractice
See, I've never seen Fincher's director's cut of three which I've heard is much better. I kind of liked three. Resurrection was awful. I actually liked Resurrection. It's probably my second favorite of the Alien movies (Alien being my favorite), and found the satirical nature of the whole thing quite refreshing for a movie of this type. I will say that while Jean-Pierre Jeunet is a great director, i didn't think he was the right choice to direct the movie (i don't think he quite understood what Whedon was trying to do), and some of the casting didn't quite work. Then again it's been a long time since i have seen it, so my i might think differently now.

LOL And as far as my comments on the commentaries on the S:TAS sets the only ones I wish they'd have added was Worlds Finest Parts 2 & 3 but there are tons of other commentaries which is great. Wish there was a voice actor special on one of the sets with the Voice actors that did in S:TAS
SuaveStar
It would've been nice to hear Clancy Brown do a commentary on his thoughts on playing Luthor and how he felt his voice helped potray the definitve Luthor voice, well to me atleast. I picked up the two-disc edition of memento today.
