I've got the original box set through "... Takes Manhattan" so I'll pretty much leave that alone. I know that the uncut Friday part 1 is literally a minute of more gore. I don't need that.

I'll get it for the new features, but also because of the 3-D, I never saw F13TH 3 in 3-D, but not right away, I'll wait a little while, just in case they do make a box set. I mean, they'd have to be stupid to release 6 films and not release the other two. But than again its Paramount, if its not Star Trek, its not worth the time and money. You also have to remember the Documentary coming out too.

The first boxset was pretty much perfect. Had a great doc, some commentaries, and a whole disc of extras, and even the uncut stuff from seven. I have a bootleg III 3D, so that's no real loss either.

True dat, but it came free with a purchase of Anthropophagus: The Grim Reaper.

Ha! Usually the free thing is nowhere near as good as the thing you buy. That time it was the other way around.

Yeah, true but there were a shitload of deleted scenes from part 4, the alternate ending in part 3. Uncut footage from parts 2 and 5 and the R2 commentary for F13TH.

I've never seen this Jason Forever documentary, so that should be cool. I will get that Many Faces of Jason Documentary, so there 3.

Now if only New Line and Warner Brothers would get together and make an ultimate Nightmare on Elm Street documentary

I bought the original set through 8 and don't see then need to buy this.

Also the 1-8 set oknly got released over here about four months ago, so their won't be that big a market for this.

Anchor Bay is releasing a 2 disc documentary on Jason in February called His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th.

It will defeat anything on these special features. I hope to have a screener in the coming weeks.

Nice, i'll be getting that then.

Saw the review annericelover posted.

It doesn't really make me want to go out and buy this.

Seeing as the review was just "You own two copys, why not make it three" I mean I like seeing Kevin Bacon die a horrible death as much as the next guy...

We have no pricing details or cover art for these new titles, but we'll update this story as soon as we have more information. You can take a look at the new special features announced below.

Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter

The body count continues in this vivid thriller, the fourth - but not final - story in the widely successful Friday the 13th series. Jason, Crystal Lake's least popular citizen, returns to wreak further havoc in Friday the 13th - The Final Chapter. After his revival in a hospital morgue, the hockey-masked murderer fixes his vengeful attention on the Jarvis family and a group of hitherto carefree teenagers. Young Tommy Jarvis is an aficionado of horror films with a special talent for masks and make-up. Has the diabolical Jason finally met his match?

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning

Jason is back, hockey mask and all. And he's up to his old maniacal tricks in Friday The 13th, Part V: A New Beginning. This time he seems to have set his sights on the young patients at a secluded halfway house. And more than a few of his teen targets end up in half, in quarters...you name it, Jason does it. This is the fifth scary installment in the Friday The 13th saga. If you liked the first four, and think you're up to getting back on Jason's bloody trail, you'll love Friday The 13th, Part V: A New Beginning.

Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives

As a child, Tommy Jarvis did what many others died trying to do, he killed Jason Vorhees, the mass murderer who terrorized the residents of Crystal lake. But now, years later, Tommy is tormented by the fear that maybe Jason isn't really dead. So, Tommy and a friend go to the cemetery to dig up Jason's grave. Unfortunately for Tommy, (and very unfortunately for his friend), instead of finding a rotting corpse, they discover a well rested Jason who comes back from the dead for another bloody rampage in Friday The 13th, Part VI: Jason Lives.
