MaxPower
Great read, thanks for the link.... It seems Conan was suffering from being a rational person dealing with irrational people.
dc20willsave
Leno is stepping down in spring of next year with Jimmy Fallon taking over his spot.
JackFetch
The rumor is Seth Myers will be taking Fallon's show.
dc20willsave
I can get behind that. While I will miss Seth Meyer when he leaves SNL for it, the guy would be majorly fun, especially since the later show is the one allowed to be more subversive. Molly
Seth Myers' Twitter icon is him in the Ted Kord Blue Beetle suit. I can only pray for his success.
Stavros
That's a great move for Seth, he's great doing Weekend Update so hopefully he can adapt some of that into real interviews. Plus SNL needs some natural churn to stay fresh.
JackFetch
I'm starting to think Lorne Michaels is secretly the most powerful person at NBC.
Stavros
He pretty much is directly or indirectly responsible for all their good comedy.
Dread
I'm surprised anybody watches late night television.
Dan
Fewer and fewer people do. The Tonight Show is still the highest-rated show, but that's only because everyone's ratings are abysmal.
dc20willsave
It's official: Seth Meyer is taking over the Late Night slot when Fallon transitions to the Tonight Show.
Stavros
Good choice. He can do a punchline and interacts well with others on screen.
