Darque Edge
Question: Which actress broke their collarbone while filming a scene with Michael Keaton in Batman? Explain the answer too if you can... Oh, and Remember Rule 4 Sean Young. She was originally meant to play Vicki Vale, and filmed a couple of scenes, however in the famous scene in which she and Bruce went horse riding, she fell off a horse. What famous scene? Exactly. It was cut.
The Maverick
Question: Which actress broke their collarbone while filming a scene with Michael Keaton in Batman? She was originally meant to play Vicki Vale, and filmed a couple of scenes, however in the famous scene in which she and Bruce went horse riding, she fell off a horse. What famous scene? Exactly. It was cut. Correcto Chris. You've got to feel for Young. She became somewhat Bat-obsessed as time went on, and as you may well know, she turned up at the Batman Returns set basically begging for a job. Apparently she even turned up to meet one of the Producers in Catwomans Catsuit too, but that didn’t do the trick – I'm sure it would’ve if Yoda was in charge. As an aside, it’s rumoured that we’ll get to see, among other things, Young as Vale in the Special Edition Batman disc. But who knows… Shoot. Darque Edge
In Citzen Kane, there is the mystery of what 'Rosebud' referred to. Now, the answer I'm looking for isn't the answer the movie gives. Orson Welles allegedley used the word 'Rosebud' for a very specific reason, and it had to do with the person who Kane was based on, Randolph Hearst. So what was Rosebud a reference to in real life? Missy
I didn't know, so I did a little research and all I have to say is OH MY GOD!
Darque Edge
It's a tricky one, so I will give a clue. The recent movie about Hearst (that had Eddie Izzard and Kirsten Dunst in) was called The Cats Meow.
drqshadow
I had to go look it up too. Very nice.
Darque Edge
Okay, the answer is: Hearst's pet name for his mistresses clitoris was 'rosebud'. Welles found this out (Hearst wasn't the most discreet), and added it in to wind him up. New question: Sherlock Holmes is the most often portrayed character in film. However, Christopher Lee holds a distinctive record when it comes to Holmes....in that he's played three parts in seperate Holmes movies. 1 is Sherlock. Name the other two. slothian
Whilst I very well could be substituting the wrong guy : Baskerville and Watson
Darque Edge
Well, nobody got it right. The answers were: Henry Baskerville, and Mycroft Holmes (In Hound of the Baskervilles, and Private Life of Sherlock Holmes respectively). Let's go with an easier one. Which famous film director has a short cameo as the IRS guy that the Blues Brothers give their money to near the end of the movie?
slothian
Thank God, a Blues Brothers question! The answer's Spielberg.

slothian
Who was originally going to play Mozart in 'Amadeus' before Tom Hulce was given the role?
slothian
OK, let's try another then. (The answer was Kenneth Branagh, but he lost out because Milos Foreman wanted US actors playing the main roles) Why were there complications in having Tommy Lee Jones play Two Face in Batman Forever? Missy
Because Billy Dee Willimas played Harvey Dent in the first Batman film.

Missy
What is Blade's full name? Hint: His first name is Eric. (Which you should know if you saw the first movie.)
Missy
Answer: Eric Brooks. He's called Eric more than once, and his mother's ID reveals her (and therefore his) last name to be Brooks. New Question: What is the name of Edward Norton's character in Fight Club?
Drubot
Answer: Eric Brooks. He's called Eric more than once, and his mother's ID reveals her (and therefore his) last name to be Brooks. New Question: What is the name of Edward Norton's character in Fight Club? Tyler durden? He didn't use his real name in the movie, unless you count cornelius. The Maverick
Well towards the end of the film we learn that Marla Singer believes his real name is Tyler Durden. So in the world of the movie perhaps that is his name, although it seems far fetched that even in his mental state he doesn't recognise his own name... Other than that it's not stated. If you draw upon extra diegetic information you could say his name was Jack, Rupert, Cornelius or even Narrator, but I'm not convinced this question has an absolute 'right' answer, unless you're tricking all of us. Missy
Well, it is a bit of a trick. So let me put it this way: What's his name as listed in the credits?
drqshadow
He's listed as Narrator in the credits, I believe.
