KnightWing
The only way I could see Megan Fox working as April is if they make her character one of those "so pretty no one takes her seriously" types. Maybe she's actually a good reporter, but others constantly assume that she was only hired because she looks good on camera. Hell, Megan Fox herself probably gets treated like that every single day, so there's a chance that she could actually play that type of role well. NightAngle04
I don't think it matters one bit who April o Neil is.
Pan-dub
Any news about an appearance from Bebop and Rocksteady? Continuing down the 007 actor theme I think it's high time for Colin Salmon and John Cleese to play a bumbling Rhino and Pig double act
dc20willsave
Don't we all just want to see the Turtles? Isn't April o Neil irrelevant? Keep in mind this is Michael Bay. He did THREE Transformers movies that featured the human allies more than the fucking Transformers themselves. Are we honestly expecting to see the Turtles more than April and Irma? Hell, if Vinton is in this movie, I expect he'll get more screen time, mainly for the scene where Master Splinter defecates on him. It's a Michael Bay. CGI waste products need to be shed. NightAngle04
At least Bay isn't directing though, that's good news.
Gareth
Yeah, instead it's the guy who directed Battle Los Angeles and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. I don't know why people still care that this is being made.
JackFetch
I don't think it matters one bit who April o Neil is. It matters because this is what she looks like. She's jumping on a trampoline for no reason. She's not there for her acting chops. She's the frosting on the TMNT cake. Just there to look good. Dan
The Brattle Theater is showing a double feature next week if Clash of the Titans and Jason and the Argonauts to remember Ray Harryhausen. Hot damn.
JackFetch
What do you guys think of the gravity trailer? It stars George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. There is nobody else in the movie except the voices on their radios.
Gareth
Can't tell to much about it from the trailer but I liked what I saw. Hopefully it will be a slow suspenseful sci-fi film like Moon. Also Alfonso Cuaron is attached which is definitely a good thing.

April is there to be the damsel in distress and to say "OMG GIANT TURTLES!" It absolutely does not matter who plays her.
Missy
Gravity looks like Open Water in space. And I cannot wait to see it.

dc20willsave
Gravity looks like Open Water in space. And I cannot wait to see it. The script was heavily traded around and the Bullock role has been heavily fought over. Hell, just because of the acting chops required for it, Bullock is already getting a little bit of Oscar Buzz. Stavros
Nothing like seeing a crappy limp final episode of Community and then at the end have someone say "tune in for the 2 hour Office finale!"
Venneh
I gave up on this season four episodes in. I'm kind of happy I did. Season 3's where Community ends for me.

Missy
This afternoon I watched The Omen and Carrie, both films I saw when I was very young. Too young, even. I'd guess I was four or five. And now that I think about it, I wonder if they're the root of my atheism.
