JackFetch
She looks like a Wonderwoman you see in Hollywood on the street. Not a good look in my opinion. Also, learn how to apply makeup. She looks like porn star.

SuaveStar
Did anyone else notice that the comments are currently disabled on the DCU blog post for this story? They've done that for everything over the past few days.

KnightWing
They've done that for everything over the past few days. Interesting. Man, I can't even look at that photo; it hurts. Not because it contradicts the comics or anything; it's just crap. I can't look at a full-body picture of WONDER WOMAN. WONDER WOMAN. That's beyond terrible. Koete
That's beyond terrible. It's not like she stole 40 cakes or anything...
KnightWing
...Well, you've got a point there. If she had, the costume would probably look a lot worse on her.
JackFetch
The costume itself is too shiny and plastic looking like a 70s Halloween costume. Otherwise it would be ok. My main problem is her face.
KnightWing
If they made the pants a navy-colored blue fabric rather than shiny latex or whatever, it might work. Make the boots red. Make the metal parts actual metal. Then it'd just be the regular costume with pants instead of briefs.
SuaveStar
Here's why. Shame. I always enjoyed reading the comments on the source. It's a bit stupid to have a blog and not be able to have people comment. On topic, that costume looks like a cheap rip off of an actual WW costume. It just looks so cheap and fake. MaxPower
Agree it looks like it's from a fancy dress store, one designed for women who are uncomfortable with their body.
Missy
I showed it to Shana, and her response was, "It looks trashy." Though I like the concept of the costume, I agree. It looks too much like that sexy Robin Halloween costume.

JackFetch
Sigh.... Foxnews.com says David E. Kelley's character has lost her "patriotic costume in favor of 'globalized' duds." http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/fox-news-new-wonder-woman-169252?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+thr%2Ftelevision+%28The+Hollywood+Reporter+-+Television%
KnightWing
...That's why there's still a golden eagle on her chest and white stars running down the sides of her blue pants?
annericelover
The costume itself is too shiny and plastic looking like a 70s Halloween costume. Otherwise it would be ok. My main problem is her face. I have a feeling this won't be the final costume, it may just be a test costume or something. I think it looks ok and like most series will most likely develop over time, but I don't think this is the final product. But for everyone who is bashing the costume, what would you like to see, if you had a replica of the 60's costume, you'd complain that it was too old fashioned, if you have Lynda Carter's costume, you'd complain they were copying and had no imagination, if you had today's costume you'd not like it cause that costume sucks, it seems like no matter what they go with no one will be happy. MaxPower
It's not so much the design of the costume to me, it's the implementation. The fabric, colour, construction all just look cheap, really really cheap. It's like they designed the toys first, then the costume for the show. Mainly for me it's the colour, if the blue and red were about 50% darker it would be a million times better. Very rough version of what I mean by making it darker. I also got rid of the shine glare on the thigh that was bugging me. vs
KnightWing
That already looks better. Though the fact that the pants are shiny AT ALL is still a problem. The tiara could also use some help. Why not go with the traditional one? At least then it'd look less like a headband.
prez
I'm pretty sure that's a costume from some porn parody of the Justice League. It just sucks.
KnightWing
Whoops. Somehow I missed this. I'd rather have the Lynda Carter outfit than this one. True, it wouldn't be perfect, but it'd be better than this vinyl crap.

As I said before, I like the general idea of the costume, as it incorporates the classic design and modernizes it. However, it looks no better than the Robin costume I linked to, and she resembles a whore because of it. (Though, the heavier-than-needed makeup adds to that last point.) Koete
Really, I think we should be thankful her costume isn't a red leather jacket with a "W" pressed into it.
KnightWing
If she weren't still in bright blue vinyl pants, I'd be cool with that.
