RSS
The bits are on the table in this episode of Married to Movies as Megan and Desmond cover Planet Terror and Hard Candy. Ladies in red and testicular trauma abound in these films, but they have very little else in common except that Desmond likes them both. But what does Megan think? Listen to find out! Also, feedback abounds! Dread
Me too. I almost forgot that before rewatching.
Stavros
I've actually got to agree with Megan on Planet Terror. I mean, I love zombie-style films, and I love 80-90% of double R's work (Desperado is still a personal favourite) but there was something fundamentally off when I watch this. Maybe it was me, but I couldn't get into the film at all.
Dread
Then you'd both be wrong.
Molly
I concur. I prefer Hard Candy, if I have to compare, but both films rock the shit.
Stavros
I actually much prefer Death Proof, I like the dialogue and how the tension builds, plus structurally it's interesting.
